Hampton Inn

1 star is a bit much. NO ONE at a Hampton apparently can READ! For the last 3 stays, I have stressed NO FEATHER PILLOWS, yet they are always on the bed. When someone dies due to an allergy, and the family wins a lawsuit– maybe then someone will learn to read!

AWESOME! My fiancé and I stayed at their sister hotel in Seneca, SC and I was so hoping that this location in Lexington would at the very least, meet the standards. Totally did that! Very clean and fresh room, lobby, elevators and hallways. (I am VERY picky about clean hotels!) Very quiet building. Great location and access right off the main highway. I feel totally safe here. The front desk pro Michelle, was both super friendly and went above and beyond to answer my questions, provide me with a to-​go breaky because I get up so early and may miss out on the hot breakfast they offer here. I had a sligh problem connecting with my pc/​internet and Michelle immediately sent their IT Guru to get it connected and working! Love the big, clean towels, in room coffee and overall feel. Totally recommend staying here. Excellent value.

We stayed here twice in the space of 10 days, going and coming from Illinois. We were traveling with our dog and this place was listed as pet friendly. Average size room and bathroom but clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good and varied (eggs, breakfast meat, baked goods, etc.)
They have a very nice dog walk area that is well lit.
We will stay there again when we pass through this area.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. Top two floors are nice. The cell phone reception is spotty (I have AT&T). And be sure you request a rom on fourth or fifth floor unless you are okay with animals running up and down the hallways at all hours of the night.

This hotel was so comfortable. When I thought it couldn’t get better there was free food in the morning. Literally this place was nicer than my house haha.

Nice clean hotel but don’t «nickel and dime» me for Internet WiFi. That comes off as desperate. My daughters like the pool but I hated the absence of a whirlpool.
Apparently the hotel has Internet blockers like they do in Vegas casinos therefore forcing in you to use their sh! tty pay-​fi. I’m having to write this review out in my car.
Very desperate. These rooms aren’t cheap. I couldn’t even get queen size beds for under $ 140. My kids don’t wanna share a bed with their cantakarous father.

Check in around 11pm after a horrible experience at another hotel in the area. The night shift guy was so nice and very helpful. He gave us a great rate and all information on the hotel. They offer water, coffee and cookies upon arrival.
The rooms smelt good, the beds were clean (no stains, burn holes, etc) the bathroom was spotless.
Breakfast was complimentary in the morning 830−10am & everything was great. For check out it was a woman in the AM (not sure her name either she had really long hair) very sweet, asked me how my stay was or if there was anything I disliked. Very friendly and welcoming.
No complaints at all! 5 stars!

Our family always stays at Hilton hotels because they are always constantly good. This one fit that description too. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was quiet at night even though when we stayed the hotel was full. The pool and gym are modest but still very nice. The staff was very attentive and wanted to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The hotel building was a bit worn, but not dumpy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pet friendly. Clean. Comfortable, even plush. Great value. Indoor pool. Impressive hot breakfast included. Next night was Holiday Inn in east Asheville which disappointed. Hampton Inn is on their game.
