Foxy Nails & Tan

Went here with a friend. She got both manicure and pedicure and I was actually there for moral support. Since I had nothing better to do, I did get myself a pedicure. The service was alright, but not over the top. I do not get anything fancy when I go into these places. All I can really say is my feet were soft and flip flop ready.
The lady’s working there were very quite and polite. They didn’t say but 2 words to me during the whole procedure. I might have assumed they may not speak English or very well. Oh well.
There was a few moms there with kids running and screaming up and down the isles. It was really annoying. Some of the places in Dallas don’t allow kids in there if they aren’t getting work done. I like that concept a lot.
They were playing old school 80’s tunes and had a really clean and tidy shop.
So all in all, not the best, but not the worst. They get the job done and are really close to a wine bar.

I have been here a few times and haven’t had a bad experience. After this last time, I will never return again. I don’t know if my nail tech was new but I have never seen him there before. He did my acrylic set first. I asked him to keep them short and he did not. I asked for a simple chevron print on one nail and it looks TERRIBLE! The worst part is when I was getting my pedicure he was trying to cut my already pretty short toenails, and he clipped my skin. My toe was bleeding non stop and he just kept saying «sorry» and trying to stop the bleeding. He had NO GLOVES ON and was covered in my blood (luckily I don’t have any diseases). He painted my toes even though my toe bled the entire time. It was awful. They still charged me full price!!! The worst part is that he started working on someone else’s feet after being covered in my blood without even washing his hands!!! Terrible! I will never return.

Pedicure looks terrible. The wait was short and the people were friendly, but I asked for a basic pedicure, which I was told was $ 25. My bill was $ 30, I assume because I asked for a French pedicure. I tipped 20% as usual, then looked down to realize I would be redoing it myself.

Have always gone to the Pimlico location. First time here, got a gel manicure. The tech did a beautiful, thorough job. Polish was still going strong after THREE WEEKS, until I soaked it off at home. Place was very clean and I watched implements being sanitized and foot tubs being cleaned. No wait at all (weekday mid morning) I will definitely return. Oh and I went with OPI gel.

Typical salon here in Lexington. Inside is clean, nice atmosphere and their pedicure chairs are taken care of. No cracks, the massage works.
I’ve had various people deliver a pedicure to me. I don’t have a favorite so I play nail tech roulette. They’re always plenty of staff on hand and during the week there is never a wait. The weekend can get hectic and busy but the techs take their time and I have never felt rushed.

Walked in for a full set, immediately got served. Great! Asked an employee if they had glitter gels, she was completely lost as to what I was asking for. Looked around the shop trying to find it, but no luck. Guess they just dont do it. White tips or colored tips only. (Wow upgrade plz) I was getting a full set due to my nails being damaged and getting worse from work. I had gel soak-​off polish on my real nails. The guy did NOT soak off my polish, but instead took the dremil to my already thin nails. I told him it hurt and burned so he then PEELED and PICKED all the gel off my nails! And STILL took the dremil to my nails! Everything following was pretty normal. I seen something was sticking out in between my nail. I then noticed the tips were NOT completely glued to my nail, about 5 of them. Food got stuck inbetween my real nail and the glued on tip, so did water! Great way to have fungus grow!!! Will NEVER GO BACK, pissed I paid $ 45 ($ 5 TIP). I hope this saves the rest of you! Don’t go here! EVER!

Very disappointed in the manicures my daughter and I got here. Incredibly rude service and even after sitting through 3+ drying cycles, my polish dinged easily. Two days later, one nail tip has chipped off. Insufficient coats, poorly applied. The one star is only for the lovely décor.
