First had them at Crave this year and it «ruined» my appetite for the rest of the vendors ;) I kept wanting to like the other foods but nothing was as delicious as Fork in the Road. Fresh, local, fun ingredients created by a talented chef.

Mark is one of the most talented and dedicated chefs I have ever met– and it shows. All the ingredients are locally sourced and prepared by him. Lexington is truly lucky to have FitR. Gourmet meets off the wall for $ 8. Watch out for Middle Fork opening in August!

Had the Lemongrass Ginger Pork Bao Bun at Blue Stallion. The combination of flavors was incredible. I grew up in Chinatown, New York so I’ve eaten a number of pork baos from different places in my life, and the one from the Fork in the Road was pretty darn innovative and good. The bun was fluffy and moist with a hint of sweetness. I hope to try more stuff there.

Ate from this food truck at the Blue Stallion brew pub in Lexington, KY. It was amazing. We had a ricotta and asparagus tart, plate of meat, cheese and pickled items, and another dish that is escaping me now. It was all incredible, I’m not usually a big fan of pickled things, but I can say they are definitely worth trying! If you’re in Lexington, track down this food truck! I mean now! Go do it!

This is more like gourmet food rather than what you would think of coming from a food stand. The prices are also more expensive than what you would think of from a food stand too. They often set up inside of a local brewery. Their menu rotates, from what I’ve noticed. Maybe they have a few staple items, but I tried the pasta and the next time they didn’t have it, which was fine because it wasn’t how I like pasta, it was very thick and oily. The next time, I’ll try something else and hopefully update my review to match the other five star reviews.

I know that the Food Truck scene in Lexington is growing but I had no idea how far that it had evolved. Formerly my favorite hotdog was the Sonoran Hotdog in Tucson, AZ. I must admit that now my favorite dog is the Haute Dog from here. Dear God the play of flavors is outstanding and almost sexual on the taste buds. The toppings included — crispy pork belly, mustard caviar, celery root relish, green tomato confit, sambal oelek, cucumber noodles, and pickled red onion. This was served on a soft and delishish BBC callah poppy seed bun. You could choose from a all beef frank or a spicy carrot dog for a vegetarian taste. This is one of Lexington’s MUST tries. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The menu is very creative and extrememly visually pleasing as well. I can’t wait to try some items from their other menus, especially their Okonomiyaki and Ramen.

Wonderful food, beautiful colors, textures, flavors — all layered to make a phenomenal dish. Everything I have tried has been amazing! Their portion size also seems to have improved. Nothing goes better with a local beer than something from Fork in the Road.

Thanks to Mark Jensen and Fork in the Road for doing food trucks right! Some of the best gourmet food you can get on the street. We met this crew behind Lexington Beerworks for some late night grub. They have a limited menu but I recommend trying it all. They can also modify the menu for vegetarian and vegan diets if needed. We had the carrot dog, which was a vegetarian play on the hot dog with a gently cooked and marinated carrot in place of meat and piled high with fixings. Fork in the Road is run by a conscious group that makes a point to always offer local, organic and sustainable food. Thanks again for some great grub and can’t wait to see y’all again!
