Dr. Rosen and his staff are excellent. If you are looking for an oral surgeon for periodontal work or consultation, you cannot do better. Dr. Rosen is a state-of-the-art surgeon, who is also very approachable and considerate, and will take the time with patients to explain procedures and options in full detail. The office atmosphere is friendly and professional. It’s a great team, highly recommended.

Dr. Rosen sincerely cares for his patients and his practice. I would recommend him to anyone in the area who needs a perio doc or has a history with sleep apnea.

This is an update from the review on 10⁄27. Dr. Rosen contacted me(the doctor himself, not the staff) after I cancelled the appointment. He agreed to a pre-determination and sent it in to insurance, so now I’ll know whether the appliance is covered like they told me in the call. Once the response comes back from insurance, Ill know whether I luckily avoided a massive bill. My last comment remains valid: they will call your insurance company and determine whether the appliance is covered under your insurance, but they didn’t check what the coverage would be and whether you are eligible to be covered. So be careful, and double check with insurance yourself.

I have no idea how good or bad a dentist Dr. Rosen is because I went there for a dental appliance to aid against sleep apnea. The whole experience that left me feeling icky. He showed me the devices and I honestly felt like he was trying to sell me on one specific one. Then I find out that one is the most expensive. The out of pocket expense was over $ 1,400. Now I find out that Dr. Rosen charges more for dental appliances than other dentists(according to earlier review). It must be a successful«business» because I now hear radio commercials for his practice of selling these devices. Since when do you have to be worried about whether your interests are the first priority for a medical care provider? Thank you but no, I would prefer to get what I need from someone in the business of helping me not in the business of selling things to me.

Dr. Rosen and staff could not be more professional and knowledgable. From first contact until insurance payment, I knew I was in the best hands. Making an appointment was a breeze as well as having the office apply for my insurance payment was very much appreciated. The best part is, my mouth problem is no longer a problem!!!

Dr. Rosen is certainly a competent dentist but if you’re considering an oral appliance I would certainly recommend you price shop as I found out the hard way that he is about the most, if not the most, expensive out there and the appliance he uses is not covered by all insurance companies. Also, if you’re on Medicare, his fee is higher than my insurance company permits so you’ll be stuck with the difference. In my case, that was over $ 700. In addition to his high initial fee(and he’ll want a sizable piece of that paid in advance), you’ll get a pricey bill every time you visit him for multiple follow-ups, even though it often takes only a few minutes.
