I never liked the idea of bringing our grandchildren to this place from day one because of some things I had heard. But a good friend of ours was pleased with the care that her grandchildren were getting so we decided to give it a try. First I need to say that as parents and grandparents, you should discern the spirit of the people to whom you entrust your children. When I first laid eyes on this guy(the«owner), my spirit became restless(3rd day). In the months that the children have gone there, he has NEVER looked me in my eyes(clue #1). He was non– inviting, stand-offish. I have witnessed him being rude as hell, and a flipped mouth(smart aleck remarks) to people, clue #2. Most Owners and Directors treat their customers like they are happy that they chose his daycare to entrust their children. This gentleman acts as if somebody MADE him open up this daycare against his wishes. Just look at his responses from the«owner» to the people who do not like their services(Clue #3). Their issues are not addressed. Our issue, dealt with normal toddler behavior, period. But when the owner and the staff are not certified, what do you expect? If they were, they would know how to handle NORMALTODDLER behavior. A parent has a right to question the staff and the owner about their child’s care. But unlike other daycares that we have researched, you do not get daily reports(tangible). What did they eat? What time was their nap? What was for snacks? Did they have a good day or a bad day? If they had a bad day what happened and what did you do to make it better? Did you comfort, console, determine the source of the frustration or anger or fear? You do not get progress reports. Your toddler is not bringing home coloring papers or alphabets, etc.(Clue #4) I could not understand how a daycare could not deal with normal toddler behavior(negative behavior). But look at God… I hire employees all the time thru Indeed. I was perusing thru Indeed and I saw an ad running for a toddler teacher and infant teachers for this location. They are not trained childcare professionals. The only requirements are: 18 years or older, HS Grad, Must be able to lift 50lbs, Passion for working with children, Daycare located in Lewisville, Job Type: Full-time, Required education: High school or equivalent(I pulled this directly off of Indeed). They are untrained babysitters. We paid these people GOOD money… Over $ 900 per month for child care. We are professionals with Bachelor and Master Degrees. We and our children have jobs. There was no subsidized government money paying for their daycare. So it does not matter whether you pay them or they get subsidized funds, the level of care is still poor at best. Then an issue comes up and we discuss the issue with the owner and he is EXACTLY what the other ladies in the other reviews have described(FINALSTRAW). Despite the differences in our issues the common denominator is the same. I was told was a Christian Day care. The intent is good. But a Christian is defined as a person who adheres to Christianity, an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The term«Christian» is also used to describe anything associated with Christianity, or in a proverbial sense«all that is noble, and good, and Christ-like.» To open a daycare under the guise of being bible based is blasphemous at best when the head is unapproachable, non-engaging, rude and unpleasant. I am not attacking his Christianity, that is between him and the God he serves. But his actions are not Christ-like. I am, however, questioning his ability to run a business where people have to entrust their children to his care. He wrote a prior comment for people to come in and see for themselves. Well, we have and we pass. We have elected a place where we have secured monitoring and we can see what the children are doing and how they are treated from our laptop, desk tops and cell phones, Nutritious Meals, Certified Childcare Professionals who understand and are trained to deal with NORMALTODDLER behavior, Computers in class rooms and a lot more for $ 8 more per week. But even if it were another $ 100 per week, it would be well worth the money for better quality care.

Reduced from 5 stars. No longer the best Daycare ever. Cory the new owner claims to be a Christian man, but with his actions and decisions he has proved otherwise. He does not run his business as he should. He gives no warning of withdrawal, and he is a liar to boot. He shows no respect to the parents who struggle in their lives of trying to be the best parent possible. yells and screams of the teachers forcing them to quit, and firing those for no good reason. Don’t even try and ask him if you can have a copy of your children’s files, because apparently they are now Daycare property. NEVER will I ever bring my children back to Treehouse Children’s Academy. Previous review: My children and I love Treehouse Children’s Academy. It has been our home for childcare since February 2014, back when it was Parkview Academy. Now with the new owner Corey, it has become even better. He has started remodeling, making it even more at home like, and I can’t wait for the final result. I am expecting my third child, and I definitely plan on taking her to Treehouse as well. The teachers are all awesome, and treat all the children as their own. I am happy to call Treehouse Children’s Academy our home away from home.
