When we walked into Thai Pepper, we were unsure what to expect… However, after we sat down we were greeted by a gracious host/owner who guided us on what to order. We were very pleased with the soups(chicken Tom Yum & Wonton Soup) which both had many vegetables and flavorful broth. We also very much enjoyed the chicken and red curry, and the chicken spicy tang tac. After finding out that they delivered to our Flower Mound neighborhood we will surely be ordering delivery soon. Nondescript restaurant with very good food.

Got the fried rice here and it tasted like microwaved food. Tasted awful! To be fair we did not bother to complain because the owners did not bother to care whether we enjoyed the food or not

Wonderful, authentic Thai food. The best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. I found the service to be quick, professional and very pleasant. The family who own this place are so friendly and the restaurant is well-run. Highly recommended for dinner especially. P. S. the spring rolls and peanut sauce are to die for

Food was delicious & the old man(I think he’s the owner) was so sweet and welcoming. Must try!

I just stopped in to get an order for carry out. I wasn’t sure what I wanted but chose the yellow chicken curry for my husband. I have a bit of a sore throat so I asked her if she had a spicy, chicken type of soup that I had previously had called Khao Soi Soup. It wasn’t on the menu but she knew what I was referring to and happily made me some! Delicious.

This place is a definitive 3 stars. It’s not horrible and it definitely is not great. I’ve met the owner and his wife and they are both very friendly. Unfortunately, most people will be served and taken care of by their daughter. She is a nice person, I just think that she has some social issues. It’s not her fault, and try to be understanding if she does something that annoys you. I really don’t think she means to be rude. The food is pretty decent, Pad thai is my favorite thing there. Ambiance is below average, but overall it’s really not that bad of a place. Just go there with lowered expectations. :)

although it was busy dining in for lunch, food was horrible. Thai tea was not bad. egg roll was good, but the soup was so salty, it was like drinking salt water. anyways, pad seew noodles had to be the worse I’ve ever had. noodles were so soggy. I’ve should have looked at reviews before eating here for first time. service was not great but that’s expected with older generation immigrants. they don’t know proper etiquette and the way they act seems rude.

I sat there for 10 minutes and no one waited on me. To make matters worse there was only one other table in the place. After an additional party came in and they skipped us to wait on them, I got up and left. I will never go back.

I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to get a to go order. The to go menu is easier to navigate than the one they have splayed out on the counter. I ordered Tom Kha soup and basil vegetables and tofu. The basil vegetables are normally served with rice, but I asked for noodles instead. It was $ 1 more, but that was fine with me. The Tom Kha soup was very light and creamy with great lemongrass flavor. The vegetables in my entrée were crisp, vibrant and delicious. There were lots of big basil leaves in there. I asked for spicy and it was. The broth or sauce that the vegetables came in was a little on the thin side and a bit sweet, but still very tasty. There was not a whole lot of tofu; i think there should have been more for the price. Ingredients for everything I had today were obviously very fresh, and that is the most important thing to me, so I was happy with my order.

Although the food was rather good, I am giving Thai Pepper only 2 stars because of the service. Our first time eating there was last night and they were dead, we were the only 2 people in there. Maybe based on that the staff thought they could go on pretending no one was there. That’s what it felt like. Our waitress came to our table and I asked about drinks she huffed and grabbed my menu turned it over and pointed to their drinks. Although that may be a quick way to show someone something it wasn’t the polite or professional way. When she brought our drinks she all but slammed them down in front of us, She hastily took my boyfriend’s order and when he was done ordering she said«NEXT!» to me. I have NEVER heard that before that almost did it for me, I wanted to walk out but I was THAT hungry. So I reluctantly stayed and gave her my order. I probably should have walked out then so I wouldn’t have had to wait as long as I did for more tea. As soon as she brought our food she just set it down. Did not ask us if we needed anything else and never came back until 7 minutes AFTER we had finished our meal. On top of that I found a little metal piece which looked like part of a staple in one of my pieces of beef. When I showed her all she could say was«how did that get in there?» and quickly walked away. No apology or anything, I doubt she showed it to the manager either. She probably just threw it away. Like it was no big deal. Like I said although the food was pretty good I am not sure I will go back. I don’t like giving restaurants with crappy service my money. And if I do have such a crazy craving that I do HAVETO go back to Thai Pepper, I will not be dining in I will save myself and take it to go.

Great service, friendly and attentive but not pushy. Food was just okay, definitely had better Thai food before. Would come back to try something else and if for nothing else the fast service I received. In and out during lunch within 30 minutes. Lunch specials definitely the way to go, spring roll and soup included were delicious.

Not bad. Had better Thai before. I asked for extra spicy and had to add a lot of dry chili pepper to my dish on both occasions. I’ve had much better Thai food at other places. I’d go back.

Best Thai in Denton county — I have been there over twenty time for both causal dining or take out. The owners are the best so friendly and kind. The wife normally is the cook and all our dishes have always been prepared the way we like it. The food is authentic and the ingredients they use are from there region. I have had the opportunity to bring coworkers and family members here for a lunch or dinner. They always leave impressed and ready to visit the next time they’re in town. My personal favs are the Prad prik king with beef — the tom ka is always delicious. I have tried all there currys from yellow to green to red… Always top notch.

I always order the pad see ew everywhere I go and this probably has been the worst one yet. The noodles were soggy and tastes like the flavor came from fish sauce. It was such a disappointment but I went bc my boy friend made me. The lady wasnt very friendly at all and didnt refill out water or came to check up on us. We also ordered the sweet sticky rice with thai custard and the rice was too sweet and the custard looked and tasted like egg. I wouldnt recommend it to others especially if youre a big fan of thai food.

This was one of the worst thai experiences I have had. The service was horrible. Our waitress never smiled at us and never refilled our drinks even once the entire meal. And sadly the food did not make up for it. I had green curry and it was watery and was not at all spicy(disappointing since I specially asked for extra hot). My boyfriend had a pineapple curry also was far too mild. For the price the portions weren’t what we are used to at Thai places either. All in all I would recommend you find a better place with good food at least.

Nice place for good food. The place is family run and they like to take good care of you. Good place to go if you’re a vegetarian. They understand the details and will make sure that the dishes are prepared w/o fish sauce etc. Ask them to put on some bollywood music while you are there. :)

Wifey wanted to try this place. We got there for lunch and the parking lot in front of the restaurant was empty. Told wifey that it’s probably not good if no one eats there. She still wanted to try. We were the only ones in the restaurant. They still managed to mess up our orders. And the lady up front more interested in her phone than refilling our drinks. The food bad too. Quite possibly the worst Thai food I’ve had. The tom kha lacks flavor and I didn’t care for the zucchini. The woo sen was overcooked and mashed up. The pad thai was barely passable. Our server stuck her thumbs deep into our soup bowls and plates when she passed them out. And she also forgot that a smile and a friendly tone of voice is part of good service. She looks and sounds angry. Bad, bad, bad! Won’t RTE!!!

Went here for lunch with coworkers. This place was great until my coworker found a dead cockroach in her coke. It was near the bottom and it was just stuck to the side and dried out. It was the size of a nickle. My collegue hector had the lunch buffet and wanted to vomit. We all lost our appetite. Hector also had to argue with the staff. He didn’t want to pay for our coworkers meal(10 bucks or so). The restaurant managers wanted him to pay the full price of the meal. Didn’t bother with an apology either. Regardless, please stay away. I couldn’t imagine what their kitchen looks like.
