Stopped here for the first time at lunch. Ordered the supreme burrito w/beef and the beef was unacceptable. Along with $ 6 price for a single burrito almost every bite had fat or gristle. I won’t be back, expensive for what you get and poor food quality.

Very good. Staff was nice. Hooked it up. Authentic. Barbacoa was pretty good, tortillas are as home made authentic as you can get. The best gorditas

If you want delicious street-style Mexican food, this is the place to go. Their food is always delicioso. I recommend getting the corn quesadilla. It’s not what you’d expect.

One of my favorite spots! Growing up on Authentic mexican food, I’m pretty picky to outside«mexican» food. This place is the bomb. I love everything here and have never had a bad experience.

This place is great for a quick bite. Food is very fresh, portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I never had to wait long.

Stopped in for a couple veggie tostadas and they were really good. Everything tastes fresh and very homemade. The beans were very flavorful and the tostada was crispy and delicious. It was very large and a good price for what you get, I think it was $ 2. The place is very small but fun. There are 2 drive up windows and a walk up window. Since they make everything fresh the drive through can take a little while but the food is worth it. Seems like an authentic little Mexican restaurant. I want to go try more things on the menu.

Awesome good ol’ Mexican food! Tacos are plentiful as they are tasty. The nachos were topped with pico, avocado, sour crema, grilled onions, queso, and Al pastor meat(requested). Super reasonably priced and filling. The green salsa has the perfect, get your nose going hot! So tempting to stop by all the time after we go to studio movie grill in Lewisville. The staff are super friendly also. Definitely recommend for some street tacos and authentic Mexican food.

This place is great. They make authentic corn quesadillas. The tacos are ok, probably could use more meat. The Torta is my favorite, the bread is buttery and toasty and the veggies are fresh. I recommend calling prior, as you will be waiting for a minute as they make everything fresh and to order.

My favorite street taco place! It’s a little tiny shack in the gas station parking lot and it is so so worth it! I would go here every Tuesday with my boys for«Taco Tuesday», because the taco plate is super cheap and super delish! The breakfast tacos and burritos are amazing as well! Don’t let the location deter you, it’s fantastic fresh food!

Earlier in the day I had a meal at Mi Cocina and was disappointed for dinner we stopped at Taco Grande. This was my first visit the food was way better than the meal at Mi Cocina. Fish tacos and steak tacos. Didn’t care for the carrots in the rice. The horchata was awesome.

I had been eyeing Taco Grande for the past few months every time I drove by. It looks suspiciously like a little taco stand but it’s so much more than that. They serve everything from breakfast burritos to tacos to tortas(pssst I love me some tortas). They have both a drive-thru window and a walk-up window. Beware of the drive-thru curb! I may or may not have ran over it. I ordered the lengua torta. The lady at the drive-thru window was extremely nice and she explained to me everything that was in the torta. Not only is lengua one of the many meats they service but they have carnitas, barbacoa, and chicken on hand for the less adventurous. The tortas comes with lettuce, mayonnaise, jalapenos, avocado, and tomatoes. A few moments later I was handed a little to-go container for $ 6.50, a little container of salsa and drove off. I didn’t realize that the torta came with fries and holy moly those fries were tasty. They were just huge chunks of pototes and lightly salty — simple and tasty. Ketchup is optional. The torta was great. The torta bread was a little soft and may have been a might soggy at the bottom from the excess mayonnaise(they were not stingy with their sauce). However, I could tell it was toasted from the inner grill marks when I lifted up the bread. The lengua was super tender and delicious. Mixed in with the jalapeño, avocado and their red hot salsa, I was in taste bud heaven. Taco Grande is simple. It’s tasty and to the point. I’ll definitely be back again and next time I need to get myself an elotes fix.

This is located in a parking lot no joke. It’s just a little hut in the middle of a lot behind Texaco. There are no places for you to sit so its all to go! The menu is right when you pull up to order. Good luck with the translation. I just stuck with the usual beef fajita tacos with flour tortillas. They offer flour or corn tortills to choose. The tacos comes with cilantro and onion side of lime. Sauces are red or green, the green is spicier in my opinion but both are not spicy enough. Tacos are about $ 1.25 each so you could fill up on $ 5. They have frescas. I got the pineapple aqua and it was super sweet. Will not get that again. Why are my tacos wrap like burritos?

I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I used to live down the street(for a year) and ate here several times. My husband really enjoys it. I find it OK. I like authentic taco stands, and this one is pretty darn good. The chicken is flavorful without being too dry, and the portions are generous for the cost. It’s a real, authentic place. meaning, family owned and operated and the locals all eat here. you can’t really go wrong with whatever you order here. It’s all very solid, good food. I don’t care for the salsas very much, as I find them a bit watery and a little too one-note to add much to the experience. Plan on getting it to go! There are only a small handful of chairs out front, mostly for people waiting on their order to be completed.

Holy moly get the ceviche. I have been a long time loyal local customer of Taco Grande. As I work my way through the local taco scene this one continues to be my favorite. Today, for the first time, I got the ceviche tostada. It was everything I dreamed it would be. If it’s hot outside, you need this. Period. Sorry, no picture. I already ate it.

Stopped by here because it was to where a friend was staying and we were hungry for some real tacos. I was pretty damn happy with this place. It looks like a little colorful shack in the middle of a plaza parking lot. There is little to no seating in front of it. I think most people just order to go. I kind of wished there was more seating. so that’s why the 1 star off. The wait wasn’t too long, but there was practically no one there when I got there. I got the taco plate which comes with 3 tacos and got lengua, brisket, and carnitas. I also go the horchata drink. The server was very friendly and funny. My friend was lame and got one chicken taco and water. I tried not to judge but I gave him shit for it. It’s a little far than I would normally go and probably wouldn’t have gone if my friend wasn’t so far, but it was worth it. Pretty good tacos.

Came back for a post dinner snack(underwhelming Mexican at Ojeda’s) had beef crispy tacos and pastor tortilla’s. Never ceases to amaze me how good the food is here and how inexpensive if always is! 6 tacos about $ 8 and some change? Great food with great friendly ladies serving it. Must try!

This taco hut was fairly good Pros: Food is authentic, family-owned, portion vs price is nice, salsas are good Cons: Wait time — we waited 30 mins for 3 nachos, 6 tacos, charro beans and side of rice The rice is really good as is the charro beans. Nachos were good portions. Chicken street tacos were just ok … chicken was a little bland and dry. Ratio of onion vs tomato in the pico de gallo was like 5:1 … really a lot of onion. However, props to the one lady who seemed to be the only person doing everything, and she was really sweet and gave us a free drink for the long wait time. Really decent food and priced really affordable. Tastes homemade and authentic … like something you would eat at home.

Absolutely delicious! Thankfully my daughters soccer brings us near this gem of tacos/burritos/tortas, whether breakfast or lunch! Loaded fajita burrito is baby girls favorite, with their mild verde salsa. Me? I like the rojo, it’s zippy without clobbering you.
