I am thinking that maybe people aren’t used to receiving, quality vegetarian food in this area. Food sub par, scanty portions, and simply not fresh. Where are the reviewers getting their comparisons… a fast food chain? Living near Austin, and moving to Texas from northern California, I know great vegetarian cuisine, whether it be a café, trailer, or fine restaurant… and this is not it.

I have been here twice now. The food has been great both times. I am surprised that it is a Saturday afternoon, and no one is in here! Why would anyone eat at the food court when this place is here? I have had the breakfast burrito(with salsa and lots of goodies… So flavorful), and the chicken curry wrap. Both were awesome.

Good food. Halal too. Employees were very nice. I only went once, and it was good. Had the gyro and it was great. The only downside to My visit was when I bought a fountain drink, black things were found in my mountain dew and I had already taken a sip. But other than that it was good.

I was surprised to see this place still open since I had last visited Lewisville, but after stopping for lunch I know exactly why. As a foodie and a cook, I am very critical, and to say I was impressed was an understatement. Oasis pledges for healthy, organic ingredients and never use hormone treated meats. The price is the same as Panera bread but the taste is 10x better. The employees actually listen to what you order, and strive for better than exceptional service. Ishan and the other young lady working this morning were pleasant, kind, and genuine. The food came fast, and my order was exactly the way I asked for it. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will certainly remain a customer as long as they are open.

I have to day I’m surprised with how many 5 star reviews on are Unilocal for this place. It’s no different than Panera or Jason’s deli except that it’s conveniently located inside the mall while shopping. The chips are just mass produced chips from Frito Lays and I never saw anything about having fresh and healthy food/meat. It’s convenient and easy and food not too bad. Another great thing is you can buy mango lassi and other Indian type beverages and treats! Yum!

I like to come here while shopping at Vista Ridge near my home. The sandwiches are always the freshest and workers are quite friendly! I’ve had the asiago turkey sub, the Tuscan chicken sandwich and the chicken and wild rice soup… all very delicious. If you want something instead of the usual fast food type greasy mall food, you need to visit here. They have a comfortable seating area also. They are on the first floor of mall across from Kay Jewelers

I love this café! They use organic ingredients and hormone & antibiotic free meat whenever possible. Their food is affordable and seriously delicious. For breakfast try the croissant sandwich, and for lunch you can’t go wrong with the Tuscan chicken sandwich. Add some tomato bisque soup and its like you’ve died and gone to heaven. The best part? It’s family owned and the staff is SO nice. They even delivered when I was working in the mall and couldn’t leave my store. Best mall café ever!

**This is a review for catering, only!** We had a vender bring in some food for a meeting. They had selected Oasis Café as their choice. A wide variety of sandwiches that looked fantastic, and a number of large tubs of fresh salads. The salads a plenty of sliced tomatoes, walnuts pieces, slivers of onions on top. I tried two different sandwiches that were great. One I tried was like a smoked turkey panini, the other was a smoked turkey melt with turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato and a very lite dressing. There were two different dressings offered. Hell, I had stop eating and book mark this place. Could not have wiped my hands fast enough, it was just that good. My, my, another great find!

I’m not sure why there’s so much hate for this place. I actually enjoyed it especially considering it’s located inside a mall. You can taste the quality of the food as the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. There’s nothing sitting out in the display like many other eateries located in a shopping center. Another noteworthy thing about Oasis is that the menu is pretty diverse. Gyros and Curry Chicken Wraps? Yeah. This place is unique to say the least. I tried the Oasis Club Sandwich and have nothing but good things to say about it. I would definitely recommend if you’re having trouble deciding. The owner is actually very down to earth and will come talk to you when she’s not busy. Awesome food and drinks along with great service. This place is legit!

Food — 4⁄5 Service — 5⁄5 Price — 4⁄5 Atmosphere — 5⁄5 Located on the Cinemark-side entrance, Oasis is in a prime spot for high traffic. Surprisingly, when a couple friends and I went for lunch on a weekday, it was somewhat empty. What a shame! The café has sandwiches better than big chains such as Panera Bread and Corner Bakery, they even offer gyros, and the service is second to none. I met the owner, Nira Khan, and she is one of the most genuine ladies I’ve met in awhile. If you have a few minutes, you should definitely hear about her story and you will be left in astonishment. One thing I really love about the experience was the music that was played. I asked Ms. Khan about it and she said the playlist is of her all-time favorite songs. Hearing that, I just knew that her fingerprints are on everything and I have nothing but respect for that. Starting as just an associate for the restaurant and working her way up to be an owner — that is simply amazing. Oasis Café is officially on my list of go-to places for lunch whenever I am in the area for work.

Bought a groupon for cupcakes which brought us here. There were only a few left and didnt have much of a variety so we decided to try a few sandwiches. Ordered the margarita panini and will never order again. It was tart and had only a few flakes of basil. The next thing ordered was the oasis club sandwich which was a smoked turkey breast, turkey bacon, lettuce, tomato, special sauce. I could of made this sandwich at home for half the cost. It was slices of deli meat. Another thing ordered was the oasis gyro. It wasn’t too bad. Just your typical gyro. The tables and seats were not clean. So in the words of my father take a picture cause I will never be back. JG
