Awesome store! If you like to look, you will love this place. My favorite is the vanilla balsamic oil, I use it when I sauté peppers and onions for fajitas… Gives them a sweet, unique flavor!

You can taste as many vinegars and oils as you want! They’re amazing and I feel like a kid in a candy store here! I heard the buyer or one of the owners is from California(Which is where I am at; in fact near where I believe he is from — The Ventura County area) I am shocked that they do not have a location in that area, they would do so well! I fell in love with too many to list, but we took home the raspberry vinegarette to have and it goes with EVERYTHING! Desserts, salads, main courses, I love it!

I stopped in D’Avolio tonight because I’ve been looking for different types of olive oils for cooking. I wasn’t disappointed. Though the store is small, the shelves are full of different flavors of olive oils and vinegars. I was pretty overwhelmed. The saleswoman immediately came over to greet me and ask me what I was looking for. I explained that I was interested in olive oils and she immediately started making suggestions and offering me samples to taste. Just about every flavor is available for tasting, which was great. I really liked a blood orange infused olive oil, but wasn’t sure what to use it on. The saleswoman immediately started giving me ideas, which I really appreciated. I wound up buying three bottles(the blood orange olive oil, a butter olive oil and an 18 year balsamic vinegar). I thought the prices were reasonable. You also get a punch card that counts the numbers of bottles your purchase, so be sure to ask for that. The bottles were nicely wrapped and handed to me in a reusable bag, which made it easy to carry them on my walk home. The store has some many additional things I want to try — move olive oil and vinegar flavors, sea salts and rubs — plus some different types of brittle. I’ll definitely be going back.
