Keep’n It Clean
Ashby and Ben are a great team to keep your home’s chimney in shape. Ben works in the shop across from the state fairgrounds. He will educate you on the chimney care process and explain the different stove options. Ben is extremely polite and welcoming.
Ashby’s came to Marlinton to inspect and clean our chimney. He was able to put our open fireplace back in service. It had been sealed for probably more than twenty years.
He made a return trip a week later and installed a custom stainless steel weather cap and a top of chimney damper to prevent the loss of heat when the fireplace is not in use.
