Orange Salon and Spa

My hairdresser was so sweet and did an excellent job. She really took her time which i really appreciated. Giving this three stars because (the owner I’m assuming) reprimanded her for not giving me a blowout when I specifically asked her to let it dry natural. She snapped at my hairdresser saying how their policy is to finish the haircut with the hair straight to make sure everything is even. When she tried to explain that i wanted it to dry natural, her boss snapped «You can wet it after if she still wants!» I didn’t want them to fight over my hair, so I chimed in and said that was fine and left with a blowout. While I understand the process she was enforcing, i felt so bad for my hairdresser for getting yelled at and also felt extremely uncomfortable.

GINGER is amazing! She is the esthetician here and provides the ultimate spa experience. From the second you walk into her room you feel calm and relaxed. It is decorated very cute and is quite cozy. She uses great products as well as aromatherapy. She has a very holistic approach and does more of a healing and anti-​aging type of skin care rather than just melting off all of your skin. haha She also gives a great shoulder and hand massage with the facial. :) She is exceptional at her job and a great person all around. My boyfriend even went to her and felt completely comfortable. I highly recommend Ginger for skin care so go see her!

I found Sherry at Orange Salon on Unilocal when I was looking for a hair salon that was closer to home — and I am so glad I did! I am not the easiest customer — there is a part of me that always wants to be daring with my hair, and a part of me that knows that this is not realistic since I am too lazy to style it every day. So I think I must be hard to work with, since I’m always very torn on what I want to do with my hair. Sherry did a perfect job — she made sure to ask me several questions, and double-​checked a few times if I was sure I wanted to go ahead with some bangs. I really needed this reassurance, and it was great to know that she would never just do something that I may regret. She made great suggestions and was very helpful in explaining what would and wouldn’t work with my particular hair.
I was super happy with the end result, and can’t wait to go back and maybe go a little further this time.
Sherry was also very personable and easy to talk to. And I can’t say enough about how cute the salon is on the inside.
Just a great experience all around. Highly recommended!

I love this salon… and my stylist Sherry DeJong! It is such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere with attention to every design detail in this charming little beach cottage. Though we all know that’s not enough to keep one coming back when our hair is involved… and Sherry does keep me coming back! She has my color spot on and the style is perfect for my face and lifestyle. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and now I just show up, sit in her chair and relax… and let her do her thing. And I always get compliments on my hair… thank you Sherry * Orange Salon.

Ive been going to see Misty for years! Now she is at Orange salon and it couldn’t be a better fit! The salon is a small classy place. With fun décor and great people.
You feel relaxed when you come here. Like going to a friends house to talk about all the girl stuff you love to talk about, you just happen to get your hair done at the same time.
Misty has done my hair for as long as I can remember.
And I cant see going to anyone else. I love to visit her at Orange salon even if it is just for a quick Hi and a cup of tea.

DEBBIE, DEBBIE, DEBBIE… she is fabulous! The best pedicure I have ever had. Totally worth the money and much more. Honestly, I would recommend her to everyone! You have to set up an appointment with her! THE VERY BEST!!!

I’ve been getting my haircut by Lisa since before she had her own salon. She really listens to what you want and does a great job. Be prepared– no conversation topic is too personal!

Orange Salon & Spa is a little cottage by the sea with shabby chic dressers, a roaring fireplace, English china teapots and a bunch of really cool stylists. Lisa, Sherry, Celine, Misty & Kelly are the stylists with a wide range of hair services from highlights and up-​dos to cuts and color. The facialist, Ginger, gives an elegant touch to the skin too. Her facials and waxing techniques were amazing.
We love Orange

They don’t have a website, they don’t advertise… their only means of getting the word out is an exuberant sign that reads, «Orange.» I noticed the converted house on Vulcan about a year ago and had no idea what it was, but I was intrigued! I found out a few months later it was a salon… I only hoped its services and atmosphere were as tempting as the sign.
I stopped in one day to make an appt and walked into a wonderland! The old beach house has been painted white, decorated perfectly with dainty tea pots and beautiful mirrors. On cold afternoons, the fireplace in the center of the room is roaring with orange flames. Beauty products are neatly stacked on the mantle.
