We spend a lot of time at the library. The staff is helpful. Some of the librarians are quite friendly, which I think is very nice. It always feels good to be greeted by name and with a smile. My older boys like«The Bob» — the Robert Cormier teen room — a lot and attend the monthly trading card Duel Night. My youngest son loves Sarah’s reading/singing hour. Bathrooms are always clean. Great book selections and quite a good amount of toys in the children’s room. They need a lot more DVDs, though, IMO, and could get rid of all the video tapes.

At a time when the future of public libraries is questioned in terms of relevancy, Leominster Public Library is a celebration of literacy and community resources. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The meeting rooms and other facilities are first rate. This is a gem that all Leominster can be proud of.

I love the Leominster library and am proud to live in a town with such a vibrant and well maintained library. Space is expansive, clean, inviting and well organized. I love that they have meeting rooms and have events there reasonably often. I happily donate my books to their book sales that occur twice a month. It’s clear to me that the community appreciates the library too because every time I go by the library to check out or return a book(usually evenings or weekends) the parking lot is packed.
