Smokin Hogs BBQ

I’m never disappointed when we go to Smokin Hogs. The sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. The sauce is also very good, but I always ask for extra sauce.
It is drive-​through ONLY, so be aware of this.
Now if they had hushpuppies, they’d get 6 stars.

This is OK, not fantastic, barbecue, and it’s drive-​through only. If you are passing through, it’s the best of the near-​321, not-​chain options.

Best bbq! Pulled pork is out of this world! Homemade Carolina sauce is lip smacking good. Drive thru only but so worth it!

Pulled pork is phenomenal. Sauce is delicious. Baked beans needed to be cooked longer. Drive-​through only. Service was quick and friendly.

Great barbecue place. One of my favorites around the area. I feel like I always get my money’s worth. I usually go with a tray because you get options of two sides. This last visit I went with the feed four family meal. The pulled pork was very good. I would recommend getting more barbecue sauce though because the size provided really wasn’t that much (but I also like a lot of sauce). The bread was good (nothing special about it) and the side of beans were also good (again nothing special). The service is always great. They’re very friendly. It’s always fast service. The food is always the correct temperature. I don’t recall experiencing any problems with this place on any of my visits. I definitely recommend trying it but keep in mind they ate only open on certain days.

5 stars for the quality and taste of the pulled pork BBQ. This is as good as it gets. BUT, its a drive through. There is no place to sit down and eat. You can’t really fault them for that but its painful to see that potential go to waste. You’ve got a great product – let us come in, sit down and enjoy it instead of being stuck in our cars.

Great place to pick up some BBQ on the run. The location is drive-​thru only, and is a tiny place, so look for the pig sign near the road, or you may miss it. They do have peak hours; we waited in line this evening with three cars in front of and behind us. They do cater, and take credit cards. We had the pulled pork (we got two pounds) a week ago and it was very tasty. They offer a few bbq sauce options to choose from, but they didn’t appeal to what I like in a bbq sauce (which is sweet, savory, and thick). Came back tonight to try the beef brisket, but unfortunately they didn’t have any this evening, so we got pork again, since we waited in the drive thru line for a while. Maybe next time!
