NOSTARS– guys, absolutely horrible. No exaggerations– first we arrive, the woman at the front desk was non-charismatic, she gave us room 231(VIEWPICTURES) room smelled horrible, from the moment we walked in my mother and I had a sneezing attack — when we enter bathroom ENTIRELY covered in BLACKMOLD — atrocious — so I go through their drive through window — I tell her the problem and it was as if she didn’t care — I even offered her to view the pictures and she bluntly said«No» taps the room key on counter for me too take(like saying: I don’t care, just grab the key and go) … Now she gives us room 233. Smelled like cigarettes(even though it was a non-smoking room) … As we get settled in, we used restroom the air exhaust vent switch in the bathroom didn’t work — and the sink knob was broken off so we had to use the cold water thee entire time by using a towel(and when I addressed it to the attendants attention it was as if she didn’t care AGAIN) also the shower dial pops off when turning — and you either got freezing cold or burning hot water — the bed sheets were stained yellow —(we ended up paying and sleeping elsewhere — RIDICULOUS)

Don’t know if they still allow pets. Better check first, if that’s your plan. Room was small, but very clean, with microwave and fridge and good, large TV. Good A/C. Yes, breakfast and wi-fi are free, but didn’t check out breakfast. Good barbecue place across the street and really nice greenway adjacent. Cheaper by $ 80 than the cheapest hotel close to Blowing Rock and Boone this particular Saturday. Good deal.

Fairly cramped rooms, not the cleanest(but I’ve stayed in worse), and breakfast is pretty laughable. Staff however, was friendly and it’s the only dog friendly hotel in Lenoir.
