Tim installed a new humidifier and did a tune up on our old furnace. He didn’t try to sell me anything or use scare tactics like another larger local company. He arrived early and finished quickly. I will use them again.

We have used Top Notch for quite a few years. We use the VIP membership which is well worth the money as we have a furnace and air conditioning check-up included with this membership. Eddie is competent and good at explaining what he is doing. The people who answer the phone are cordial. Being a VIP member helps for quick service if you have an emergency. There is a senior discount also.

Initial impression was good. Our heater when out and Top Notch was the first to confirm they could come out that day. Heater was fixed, and was then sold their«priority» package, which waived the service call fee, and also signed us up for their bi annual service checks. During the Spring AC check, we were told there are some minor issues that needed addressed which we decided to wait on. A couple months later the AC quit, and the technician that came out was more concerning with selling us a brand new unit, than he was fixing our current unit, He was going to charge us 900 for parts and labor to fix the current unit. After getting a second opionion, it turns out the part that was broke only cost ~ $ 75… the other HVAC did not even charge labor because it took him less than 15 minutes to replace. Then the price Top Notch quoted for a new unit was almost double what another HVAC company will be installing next week! When you put selling new items higher on your list than customer service and doing right by the customer, I think your priorities are a bit out of order. We will no longer be using Top Notch Heating and Cooling.

Top Notch was the previous homeowners recommendations, so I decided to give them a try when the wireless thermostat quit communicating with the system. I purchased the annual service package at that time. the problem was fixed. A month later the motor on the compressor on the AC condenser went out. The service package put me toward the top of the list. Eddie was even better than the first tech but both were competent. Office staff handles the phone well. Very good customer service. I plan to stay with them.(I’m not from Houston, so not sure why the Unilocal post says«Houston»)

We used Top Notch for service recently and Eddie was thorough, professional and courteous. He even used booties on his shoes when in the house without me asking which I appreciated. We will continue to use them.

We bought a new lennox furnace from MIKEBROSSEIT and bought the yearly«Top Notch VIP Heating, Cooling & Plumbing» contract. paid extra. The first time we needed it, no luck. Sunday night it went out, called the after hours number… they noted they could not page TOP Notch until after 6am the next day… am came and went. Still no word until I kept texting him on his phone… We were over 12hr, so far without heat. with two young kids, had to run to Wal-Mart and buy electric heaters for the house… Just my thoughts… buy from someone who has a staff to take care of you and has a true 24⁄7 call system. Not someone that just keeps you busy… FYI — I paid for the VIP. but did not get it… just extra money down the drain. – UPdate— one year later and Mike still has never returned my calls, not a word from him… sent an email to his staff and copied me on it —«why is he texting my phone? and please tell him to call the shop number» FYI this is the only real review posted… you can read the other reviews got post to offset this true review. — anytime you have a 1 review, one star, then 5 and 4 stars pop up after it… and saying how great it is, you know the 4 and 5 star reviews are not real… Just another way Mike is getting out of calling me and saying sorry, or how could we make this right… We paid alot for the the unit and VIP… Also a year Later the AC unit make alot of noise when it kicks in, we bought the top of the line… called lennox and was told that is a problem. starts hard…

A/C sucked called Top Notch referred by Dad. Tech came out found I had a bad part gave me quote to fix. Had to get funds for repair called to have repair done came out fast fixed right. A/C don’t suck anymore thanks to Top Notch. Tech seemed honest and knew his stuff. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been doing business with Top Notch for years… this is actually the third home I have had them doing service at. I subscribe to their VIP service, a tuneup in the summer and again in the winter. Well worth the money. Their techs know their stuff and I feel confident in their recommendations. I highly recommend Top Notch Heating & Air Conditioning!
