Metro Property Inspection

After an inspection was performed on the home we were selling, my husband and I were shocked to find several places with permanent damage – chunks of siding ripped off and holes busted in the trim. When their inspector returned a couple of days later to pick up the radon detector, we kindly asked him why the inspection had been performed in this way. He told us the damage was the fault of the termite inspector. When we received his inspection report a few days later, we realized that he had lied to our faces. He had actually photographed himself performing the damage! This company first stated that they were fully responsible and would pay for the damage. A few days later they went back on their word and said that they would not pay for any of it. Not only did our buyer get scared off, but we lost our contract on the dream home we were buying. I don’t want anyone else to get involved with such a dishonest, untrustworthy, and unprofessional company.

I purchased a house almost two years ago and had Mike out to do my inspection. Finding a time that fit into my realtor’s schedule was quick and easy, the report I received was easy to understand and best of all: after almost two years I haven’t found an issue that he hadn’t already pointed out. He’ll definitely be inspecting my next home.

Had Mike come out and inspect a house we are under contract to purchase. He was incredibly friendly and his inspection was very thorough, his de-​brief at the end was frank, detailed and very helpful, and his written report was incredibly comprehensive.
