After a recent massage, got up to find soiled sheets were used on my massage table. I asked if I had something on my back which would cause this– it would have been on the upper middle of my back. The massage therapist stated the stain wasn’t there before my massage, no show of concern; a nonchalant response. I should have taken a pic. When I spoke to the shift supervisor about this, she stated they used a linen service and the sheets they use are clean. No apology, no offer to go look in their used linens to verify. Not the customer service I would expect given the health code-violating incident. I’ve been to this location three times and will not be back.

Bad customer service. My monthly fee are do on the 21st. My husband and I went the 19th of October. At check out time The Manager Eli mess up and instead of charging us early for our monthly fee he charge us like it was an extra service. A couple days later I was charged for my normal monthly fee. I talked to him to refund me. I call customer service and nothing. Make sure when you get charge they use the RIGHT bottom. ps my file was suppose to be transferred out state and it never did.

I agree with what David said. I regret getting into this contract. they won’t let you give away the massages you’ve pay for unless you give them additional money. the massages are average. The music that’s playing when you get a massage is irritating and stressful. There is no customer service, just the upsell.

My husband and I have had a membership there for quite a while. It’s really hit or miss with the quality of the massages there depending upon who you get. We found a couple of therapists that we liked but it was very difficult to schedule our massages with them at the same time so we ended up always going on different days. The reason I gave them one star is that they handled an issue I had with them very poorly. Without getting into much detail, I had a massage scheduled that they canceled on me after I was undressed and on the table. Turns out the therapist changed my wording about a health issue I previously had and made it seem like it was an ongoing issue. She consulted someone up front while I was undressing and they decided it was in my best interest to cancel my massage despite my having permission from my doctor. The problem I have with that is that they refused to compensate me for my wasted time with even a simple upgrade. Their policy states that if you cancel a massage in less than 24 hours, you have to pay for it anyway but it’s okay for them to cancel on me when I’m already undressed and on the table with no compensation whatsoever? If our membership is not even worth a measly $ 12 upgrade to them after they made the mistake then it’s not worth our time or money to continue our membership there. Save yourself the trouble and find a good independent massage therapist. That’s what we plan on doing.

I have been going to Massage Envy on 87th for a number of months. I love going in for 90 minutes with the deep tissue treatment. Definitely worth it! Brenda rocks! Other highlights — easy to make appointments, great reminders, and reasonable price! I have been getting massages for about 15 years and this has been a great experience and I like membership packages(keeps me going and I need it)!

In response to Massage Envy’s comment: I did reach out! Several times to the manager at the time to fix my issues. They did not help me. They said basically if you are unhappy cancel your membership. Which I did. I sat and talked with the manager 3 times and the massage therapist. Not my fault they didn’t write it down or note it in my file. I even called your corporate office. Now 7 months later you are sending me private messages and commenting on my post. Claiming to want to help resolve all issues. You ask me to call the new manager Kimber. I called her and she was clueless and said she couldn’t help me. These issues date back 2 years. Too little too late.

The massage was just okay, I’ve had better at both other places and other massage envys. At the end when they tried to get me to sign up for a membership and I nicely declined the girl said«what was the massage not good, is that why you don’t want to sign up?» I just thought that was trying to guilt me into signing up and came off very rude. I just don’t care to spend money on a massage that regularly. I would go back to massage envy possibly but not that specific location.

I called in to cancel my membership and they wouldn’t let me. Then kept accruing charges and hit my credit card with over $ 150 in charges

The previous reviewer should have communicated with the massage therapist better because my experience was fantastic! They fit me in the same day, explained everything so I knew what to expect, and even gave me a tour of their facility. Brandi, my massage therapist was awesome. I wanted a Swedish massage for stress and pain relief with a gentle touch. She checked with me a number of times during the massage to see if she was using the proper amount of pressure for my comfort. She focused on areas I asked for extra attention on and still gave an awesome full body massage. I signed up for membership savings at this location. I can’t wait until my next visit! (Add on to review 2 months after original writing: I’ve had 3 massages from the same massage therapist now, and I have to say — this place is awesome. They are very considerate and helpful, and Brandi is amazing. She takes the time to find out how I’m feeling and any special needs I have before the massage, and focuses on exactly what I ask her to. The hour session goes WAY too fast, and I’m now going for hour and a half sessions. I would say if you have a massage therapist you are not happy with, find another one. But this Massage Envy — in my opinion, is awesome. BTW, one time it was POURING down rain after my massage, and one of the desk attendants walked me to my car under an umbrella. WHODOESTHAT anymore?)
