I was a little worried about going here after reading all the negative reviews. However, I’m glad I went. Dr. Mather was very professional, to the point, and also took time to listen and explain. You will have to wait any time you go to the doctor. 20 mins really wasn’t that bad. I was in and out(x-rays included) in an hour.

M & M Orthopaedics is a decent Orthopedist office. The doctor I have is a bit concise and to the point which I appreciate, but others might not find acceptable, although other doctors there can give you more TLC. I have been told by other patients(whom I know outside of the orthopedic office) that there are other doctors there that can be more detailed and take more time with you. Again, I prefer the wham bam thank you ma’am nature of my doctor since he does answer questions I have, and does a complete job. One problem that you should be aware of is the cost. I’m not a doctor and most likely neither are you. What you need to know about this place and just about every other practitioner of medicine is that they will always charge your pants off. I broke my clavicle and was immediately treated at the ER nearest to where it happened — they performed an evaluation, took an X-Ray, gave me something immediately for my pain, and a prescription for later. My regular doctor told me to go see an orthopedist, so I went to M&M on a recommendation from somebody I trust in regards to medicine. My first office visit at M&M was a quick evaluation of my X-Ray from the ER, some advice about aiding the healing process, and evaluation of pain and issuing an appropriate prescription for managing it. It took 5 minutes. That’s all that was really needed. I got a bill for $ 633 for that and promptly flipped out only to be told later that that was a per-injury charge. They should put more time into explaining what the charges are for on the bill. If Comcast, DirecTV, and Sprint can put pages of explanations on my bill, a Doctor should be able to figure that out. I and saw the a doctor a few weeks afterwards, had X-Rays taken and a new prescription issued. Again, I was in and out quickly but all my questions were answered, useful advice given, and I was satisfied and on my way. I would recommend M&M for a major fracture or orthopedic work, but if you don’t think you’re going to need several visits in three months I would see if they have a cheaper alternative, there is one elsewhere, or make sure you’ve good good good Insurance.
