Miss donuts gets 5 stars from me for the following reasons: 1. They’ve got French Crullers, and they’re amazing! 2. They’re open 24 hours a day. 3. Friendly employees both times I’ve been there. 4. Great apple fritters and cinnamon rolls! 5. Reasonable prices All in all, this place has got it all!

Well it was alright, despite the cashier who browl beat me to buy a half dozen when I wanted two donuts. I bought them anyways and gave them away.

Have been buying donuts, here for a while, always fresh. Not sure about those reviews that say they taste like old donuts. Muffins are really good, and a large variety of donuts.

Learned not to purchase donuts late in the day. You can taste the«old» grease on the donuts.

Even though donuts are no where near healthy, these are just simply poor quality. I wouldn’t recommend their donuts to anyone.

I really would prefer to give this place 3 ½ stars; but since I can’t I’ll give it three. I have to say I was actually pretty surprised at this place. My boyfriend and I had a Saturday morning craving for doughnuts and decided to try somewhere new; we found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a go. At a first glance this place is an old, run down, hole in the wall, though, the actual quality of the doughnuts is surprisingly good, and the coffee was much better than I could have expected. The food is edible considering the state of the establishment. The reason I took stars away is because it is pretty dirty/dismal. The building desperately needs repair and a good revitalization(and a good scrubbing). There was a HUGE pile of dead bugs in the corner of our booth and I would bet that it wasn’t an anomaly. Overall, worth a try if you can get over the overall uncleanliness.

I stopped in here to pick up one of my favorite doughnuts before heading over to Starbucks for and iced coffee. The doughnut in question, was the buttermilk maple bar topped with a maple crust for .79 cents( ). The butter milk bar was good and I liked the thickness of the maple sugar crust. It tasted good with a lasting flavor. The butter milk bar inside was good. It was not as dense as some of the better ones I have had, but good. It was a little spongy and cake like( ). The pretty much carry the array of doughnuts available at most doughnut shops, but they did not have any cronuts( ). The little lady who was running the shop was very nice with a quiet mannerism. She offered me coffee, but I told it was okay. They also make coffee cake, filled danishes, and turnovers. I like a good Maple Bar…

If you are coming for donuts, drive as fast as you can. They are AMAZING! I get the donut holes almost once a week. But, today I though I would try something different and I got the Ham n Cheese croissant. I would highly advice against it. I opened it up and I found a piece of ham rolled up that look old and grungy and I didn’t even see cheese at first. Eventually I realized it looked like they put a small slice under the ham and it had just melted. Do not order the ham and cheese croissant. Stick with the amazing donuts!

I was having a craving for donuts. Luckily this place is open 24 hours! It was late – maybe 10pm or so and was lucky to have dropped in when fresh donuts were being made! The woman who helped us was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered way more than I should have, but couldn’t resist! I wouldn’t say these donuts were anything gourmet but when you’re craving a donut-these are the kind we all think of. She was even nice enough to give me a piping hot glazed donut for free! I will be frequenting this place as the cravings arise.

Open Late night. if you get the case of insomnia you can just walk over here and eat a donut with a friend. Their mini donuts with cream are so tasty, not too sweet either! I also hear they have day old dozens for cheap.

I love their donuts(chocolate bars) the most. however, I went there last Friday around 6:00 ish p.m. and the owners’ son was eating from the same tray as the pastry for sale were on. As I was walking in the door he picked up some pastry with a tong, put it in his hand, bit from it, then put the balance back on the same tray as the pastries for sale to the public set on. I questioned him as soon as I walked in «What are you doing!!! Once he recovered, then had a little back and forth with me, he told me «…if you don’t like it…» I knew he was the owners’ son because I asked him and he said yes. I told him if that was the case then he knew better than anyone to NOT do that — his reply«Ma’am, nothing is contaminated». That just confirmed he knew better than to do that. I didn’t like it so I won’t be back. SAD! Parents busting their ass and their clown son doesn’t have the sense of a flea!

Great selection of standard donuts, as well as more unique non donut shop items like a ham and cheese croissant and scones. Open 24 hours… wheeee! I had a pink cruller(icing was way too sweet for me) and plain old fashioned donut. My boyfriend had an apple fritter(yum! slightly greasy, crispy in the right parts), and a maple bar. All were really tasty and fresh. Décor is totally cheese! Pea green walls and super uncomfy plastic chairs that were probably the brain child of an industrial psychologist. Note that there is a $ 10 minimum required to use a credit card. Frankly, I think it would just be easier for them to tack on the credit card fee to anyone wanting to use their card for a less than $ 10 purchase. After all, it’s all about what’s most convenient for customers and most people don’t carry cash these days.

Let me start of as saying taste wise this is by bar probably one of the best donut shops in Lemon Grove, if not THE only one. The NEGATIVE factor is the wife of the owner. She is RIDICULOUS! She was so rude to my partner and my mom. This ALMOST made me not come here ever again, but I hate driving to other cities when ordering donuts for job functions. Also what I hate is the fact they keep charging outrageous ATM fees… whatever happened to that being against the law? So make sure you bring cash or else you end up paying %15 more for your dozen of donuts.

LOVE miss donuts ! Its a little hole in the wall kinda place, but its great. The donuts have never failed to impress and neither have the prices. Its a great place to stop by for those of us who have late night cravings or just have a sweet tooth. The service is fast and they are always friendly. Even if there was a dunking donuts or crispy crème next door, i would walk in to miss donuts no doubt. My only complaint would be that sometimes they run out of the certain kind of donut you’re looking for. Overall, Thumbs up !

Delicious, delicious donuts. Much better than any of the donuts I’ve had from the larger chains. This place a bit dangerous, as I find myself craving their unhealthy goodness on too often of an occasion. Luckily it’s enough of a drive, I don’t swing by as often as my taste buds would like. But as a firm Maple Bar enthusiast, this place is fantastic. Perfect combination of an airy chewy donut glazed just right and deliciously rich maple frosting, lightly layered on top so as to not be overwhelming but thick enough to still be moist when you bite into it. I admit though, I haven’t tried anything but donuts /filled croissants here. I’d be a bit scared to try the coffee but usually I’m picking up donuts to eat at home; so I just wait to have some delicious fresh roasted by me coffee out of the french press. :)
