Just ordered a Powerhouse Sandwich, can’t remove the paper stuck on the Cheese, I ask the lady to make another one… this time place it on a Plate. She doesn’t speak English! Had to find someone to interpret. I should of just stayed home & made my own breakfast! Coffee is always good!

First time here. Made a last minute, walk-in, large carryout lunch request thinking I would have to wait forever. The cashier and manager came out together and took my rather complicated order. BOOM, they had done in 30 minutes and everything was correct. I was really stressed about ordering carryout lunches for 12 people because something always goes wrong or it takes forever. This was so easy, well organized and pleasant. Thank you!

Food is always good but the service is awful. Every time Ive been in there the staff is different people and short staffed. Ive ordered online multiple times and almost 75% of the time there is something wrong with it. Whether it be missing a yogurt for my daughter or not taking off red onions off a sandwich etc etc. i understand when your busy it can get crazy however when I usually order online there is NOONE there as far as traffic. Just this morning it took them an hour to heat up oatmeal. They were short staffed on a Sunday morning? Lots of «sorry about the wait» or «sorry about that» flying around to customers. This place needs new management.

Food is good, but not great. Wifi is just awful. A tin can connected with a string to the internet would be faster. Unfortunately for restaurants like Panera, Internet speed is what a lot of mobile professionals look for. I’ve been to two Paneras in Leesburg and this one twice. Both are painfully slow. So, I will be looking for another restaurant that can accommodate my need to both work and eat.

I don’t know why this Panera Bread’s rate is not so good. I had a good experience. First I got a welcome coupon and received a free pastry. You just have to sign up on their web sight. Pastries are $ 2 – 3. So it’s a pretty good free present. It seems I will get something free on my birthday too. They are really popular. It was pretty packed. But the parking lot around the building is massive. Bathroom is clean enough. Trash area was a little bit messy. They should check it more often. The staffs are nice with pretty smile:))

You’ve got to be kidding me! It’s getting worse! 6:30 in the AM, 1 front person, people in the back with headphones and nobody gives a hoot.

I often eat at Panera and usually go to the Lansdowne or Frederick locations. I have to agree with other reviewers that this location is terrible! It is overcrowded, dirty, restrooms not kept up with, and my order is often not right. The food was standard but from now on I will pass this place by and head down the road a little to the other location if I simply have to have me some Panera! Gross!

As a fan of Panera, I am shocked and appalled at how utterly nasty this location is. It is 3:30 p.m. On a Sunday and surely someone HAS to recognize the need to clean… tables are nasty(we were one of four parties that I saw cleaning their own tables); the Ladies Restroom is anything but ladylike and the floors look like they have not been swept in days. Makes you think twice about eating here! I bothered to mention the condition of the store to the cashier(only person who actually appeared to be working) and got«Oh, yeah… we know!» Seriously??? I think I’ll just get some water, wait for my husband to finish his lunch and grab something else. Disgusting! Definitely will not visit again!

The staff was friendly but part of our order was incorrect, including our coffee order. We really wanted to try the featured item but it was sold out. They didn’t tell us that until after we had ordered. That’s something they should have announced in the beginning, especially since we needed time to decide on a second choice. The food pick-up area was nicely organized. The dining area was messy although the restaurant wasn’t very busy.

Sitting here as I write the review. I had a better experience than those before me. Couple of things were missing from the prep station and the manager was all over it and came out to check on things. Didn’t finish my food and they came by and boxed it up for me. Asked about refills too?! How very Chic-Fil-a of them.

This is truly the worst Panera. I wish an executive would see how this place could be improved and actually run properly. It simply makes no sense that during a breakfast rush the cashiers have to take orders, ring people up, get bagels, get pastries, make smoothies. Why can’t other employees be assigned these tasks? At any given time, the line will be out the door and there will be no employees at registers because they are all too busy slicing bagels… something is not right here. Last weekend I ordered two bagels, and it took about 20 minutes to get them. Even the employees were confused why the order took so long. Perhaps Panera should implement some sort of electronic system so simple orders don’t get lost.

Eeek. This is one of the worst panera’s EVER. Came here late Saturday night to get a late dinner, and wanted to eat healthy. Decided hey why not eat at panera since the bf and I wanted to do some last minute shopping at the outlets. This was the worst decision ever. We should’ve ate at chick-fil-a and regretted it later instead of coming here. I got the you pick two. ½ Turkey chili and ½ winter power salad. The turkey chili was good, without it, my meal altogether would be unappetizing. The salad was a so bland and had no flavor or anything to it. Ideally, I wanted to get the power salad meals, but couldn’t find it ANYWHERE on the menu?! What’s up with that… Also, don’t get the fat-free super fruit smoothie. It was beyond GROSS. All I tasted was the greek yogurt and that’s it. The«super fruit» was a pre-made purée of whatever… so who knows what it really is.

Sadly, this is the worst Panera around, but it is the closest to me. Their ability to monitor and react to the flow of customers is poor at best. Regardless of the time a day I find that there is an extended wait to order. Be it 3 people in line, or the usual case, 15 people in line. The cashiers and«helpers» lack any sort of sense of urgency. Additionally, when attempting to grab the attention of a worker behind the counter, it quickly became apparent as to his inability to hear me, he was jamming to an iPod in one ear. If I had not already ordered I would have taken the extra 7 minute drive(shorter than the wait in line in leesburg) and went to the Lansdowne Panera. This should be anyone else’s decision, and mine going forward for when the urge for a Panera meal.

Dirty and everyone seems to hate their jobs. Pretty sad since ashburn panera is so great.

This is, by far, THEWORST Panera Bread location I have ever visited. If the whole chain was this badly run, Panera would no longer be in business. A few comments about this visit? — 21(twenty one) minutes waiting in line at 5pm? Seriously? Where was the manager? This is dinner time at a Panera next to an outlet mall … shouldn’t dinner be ‘all hands on deck?’ 21 minutes is absurd, especially with just 5 people in line ahead of me. — Both kids PB&J sandwiches had approx 1 teaspoon(that is being generous) of peanut butter and jelly on them. I had to go back to the counter and have the sandwich maker add PB&J. — My turkey sandwich was a mess. Presentation matters, right? Yes it does. The bread pieces were all mis-matched/facing different directions and all the cheese was on one side of the cut. This was an awful looking sandwich, my 5 year old does much better(because she cares!) — Pastries were stale. Not one but 3. Something fishy is going on here … — Finally, and most importantly … The place is filthy. FILTHY! I don’t mean«busy dining room» kind of filthy … the place is covered in grime. There were bread crusts and wrappers all over the floor. That kind of mess is inexcusable. CLEANUPYOURACTPANERA.

A late dinner that needed to be quick yet on the healthier side left me with one choice… Panera! This location has extended hours until 10PM. so arriving at 8:45PM. wasn’t going to mean rushing to inhale the meal. The staff was friendly, patient while selections were being determined, and the food was oh so yummy! All the staff seemed to stay busy with cleaning when they weren’t waiting on customers, which is always a sign of good staff… and management! I really liked the fact that there was ample outdoor seating available, especially since it was quite cold inside. This location is definitely a good one and I encourage you to stop in!

As an office that regularly orders lunch from restaurants in Leesburg, no place screws up as colossally and consistently as Panera does. Not only do the employees refuse to acknowledge that they make mistakes but they also refuse to amend the situation. After arriving to pick up an order that the store manager claimed someone from our office had called in and cancelled, we will no longer be taking our business there.

It’s amazing how I am able to drive hundreds of miles away and still be able to have almost the same exact thing as I have in New York City from Panera Bread. The prices are almost the same, too, which, I assume, makes it rather expensive for Virginia. New York City is reputed to be the most expensive city in the United States. I recommend the soup and half-sandwich combination.

Best place to eat when shopping at the outlet mall. Their soup and half-sandwich combo is just the right amount of food to refuel yourself and continue shopping. Their pastries are delicious. I’m partial to the chocolate pastry(which is in all but shape a chocolate croissant). Also, the cinnamon coffee cake is great. I buy a whole one to take home when I’m having houseguests. I started frequenting this chain of restaurants several years ago when I learned that they had a program, in some locations, which allowed people to pay what they could afford and what they thought it was worth. This was an excellent program in underprivileged neighborhoods and actually netted the company more money. I’m sure that didn’t take place here, but I give them snaps for a such a worthy effort during the really bad state of the economy. People, as they often do during difficult times, stepped up! Some paid more, some could only pay a small amount, and some paid for others who could not. At least that’s what the news article reported. Great effort by a corporation to help their communities. I’m glad I learned about Panera’s trial run of this program because it got me into the restaurant. Of course, I’m sure that was part of the agenda, but still I enjoy their food. It’s not five star dining, but for a quick sandwich and/or soup it’s one of the best places in Leesburg. This is my favorite stop for a nosh during shopping excursions in Leesburg. Good food, great company, really good iced tea, great desserts, comfortable seating!!!

We are great fans of Panera bread and over the years enjoyed this location a lot. But lately, it really is going down in quality. Especially, if you are going there for dinner and looking forward to enjoying a nice coffee with a cookie or brownie. The cookies they have in packed form and they taste hard and dry and almost stale. Brownies are even worse. If you still want to go to Panera late in the evenings, I suggest going to the one in Landsdowne. It is at least somewhat better than this location.
