They should call it Los Tios 2. Same great dishes, fresh salsa and chips, massive magaritas, great service. Head over here when LT is packed. You won’t miss a beat and you will get your authentic South Texas fix.

This place was a real disappointment especially with all of the positive reviews. Like most Mexican restaurants we started with chips and salsa. The salsa was extremely watery and did not have much flavor other than raw onion flavor. We ordered chicken fajitas that were very skimpy and not very good. There was about 3 ounces of chicken and the vegetables were simply onions served almost raw. The refried beans were like watered down baked bean but without the good flavor. The fajitas were about $ 17 but not even worth half that amount. As they say in Spanish, «no es bueno!» We will not be returning.

Highly recommended! Great service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Wait staff was eager and friendly. Margaritas were delicious, along with the homemade salsa.

Excellent service, great food and wonderful mango margs! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our server Lilliana was terrific. Everyone was pleasant. Liked the light chips and slightly chunky salza, too. New favorite!

Dos Tequilas has been a favorite of mine and my family’s for years. Great family that owns the place, great food(with a Salvadorean twist) and an excellent place to grab quality central American food. They have the standard Americanized Mexican food, but the authentic items on the menu are pretty darn good. The Salvadorean items on the menu are a particular favorite of mine. Always happy to eat here and I’ll be coming back time and time again.

DElicious food, reasonably priced, and good service. My family was visiting from out of town, and they did a really nice job. I ordered a large sangria and FYI the large is HUGE. Perfect proportions and generous. My parents can be picky eaters(extra this, none of that) and they were really accommodating. Kept giving us chips and salsa which is always appreciated! The chips were also warm and fresh. Everyone was really happy with their entrees and we didn’t have leftovers which is rare! We were also celebrating my Mom’s 65th bday a week late, and the waiter brought us a tres leches cake for her, and they sang Happy Birthday in Spanish. Anyway the food was really good, we’d definitely go back. I wouldn’t say it was the BEST tex-mex I have ever had, but it was pretty darned good, and the service again, was excellent.

Went for a date, was just ok. More bar than restaurant to me.

My favorite local joint in Leesburg for delicious Mexican food. Service is always attentive, and food arrives quickly. I love their fajitas, but their rice is bland and tastes just like the frozen stuff I could pick up at the grocery store for a fraction of the price. This place is definitely with a visit if you’re in Leesburg and craving Mexican.

We’ve had friends telling us about this place for years and we finally checked it out. It did not disappoint! We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and our waitress was just as nice. Food was hot, fresh, and presented beautifully. There is not a formal kids menu but nearly anything can be made to order. The sangria is a secret family recipe and a «small» was a huge glass of deliciousness. Special shoutout to the green sauce — it was actually hot but still had great flavor.

We had a very enjoyable evening at Dos Tequilas. The chips and salsa are freshly made, as is the guacamole. The chorizo fajitas were the star – very tasty. I enjoyed the pupusas as well. The service was good and the mango margarita, sublime.

Can’t believe my first time here was only today. We went for lunch and had the papusas and steak/chicken fajitas. The steak was awesome, very well marinated and great quality. My wife said the papusas were some of the best she’s had in the area(there’s a lot in our area). The salsa was great, definitely homemade as was their house hot sauce. Kinda wish they had a lunch menu, but still worth it.

Flauta special, presentation is excellent. The hot sauce is very good, and their green sauce is incredibly hot(tastes like habanero peppers). Overall a good meal.

I recently moved to VA from Phoenix AZ where Sonora style Mexican food is really good and available everywhere. This makes me a Mexican food snob and I’ve and tried to compare local restaurants to my favorites in AZ and I am always disappointed. This time I used a different strategy, I asked the waiter to recommend the best dishes on the menu. I had chicken with zucchini, onions, garlic and peppers. It was exceptional, the grilled chicken was served with a delicious sauce accompanied with crisp salad, tasty black beans and perfectly cooked white rice that soaked up the sauce. My friend ordered the steak with Spanish rice and refried beans. The Steak was grilled to perfection, beans were as good as any I’ve ever had, and the fresh crisp salad was a very good compliment to the rich foods. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and professional. All the service was spot on and the décor and music made our visit an enjoyable and memorable experience. I will definitely be back.

Came here with the hubs on Black Friday for a break from shopping. Pros: nice décor; friendly service; nice crispy chips; okay portion sizes. Cons: not much salsa offered with the chips; no chip refill offered; soupy refried beans; average tasting/looking food; basic, unauthentic menu, overpriced. Overall, I would classify this as your typical Americanized«mexican’ food place not run by actual Mexicans and serving standard gringo fare(fajitas, chicken tacos, etc.). Basically like Anita’s, but more expensive and with better ambiance.

This is hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. We’ve eaten through almost the entire menu and have never had a bad meal here. The restaurant is very casual, but still a step up from most strip mall Mexican. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and their service is top notch. While everything from the enchiladas to the seafood dishes are delicious, their chorizo is the menu standout. In particular, my wife loves the chorizo fajitas, which are served in a mouth-watering sauce. I really like coming here for Sunday brunch, when I get the tipico ranchero. It comes with a little bit of everything; fried eggs, chorizo, refried beans(or rice), breakfast potatoes, plantains, ranchero sauce, and fruit. It’s the perfect start to a day! They also make some great Salvadorian food, especially their papusas. Lastly, and definitely not least, their margaritas are huge and very tasty. Seriously, we can’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent, I had seafood chimichanga and it was delicious. We arrived during happy hour and I had mango margaritas ! I will be back. Our server was super helpful especially with gluten free vegetarian options.

Chips here are the best, very thin served with great home style salsa. My son had soft beef tacos med-well, says they were the best ever! Wife and I had burritos, chicken and beef(medium) respectively, both were excellent. The hardest choice is in the parking lot deciding to dine here or at Melt(next door!), can’t go wrong either way.

My review is for their Steak Salad, yummy. I’ve never had hearts of palm on a salad and I wasn’t sure how it would taste but let me tell you, this salad is delicious and filling. Tons of perfectly seasoned steak, hard boiled eggs and you barely need any dressing. The sweet corn tamale is awesome too. I ordered my salad to go and when I brought it to work all my co-workers wanted to eat it! The service has always been great and prompt. Give them a try!

Exceptional first time experience! If you like authentic Mexican food then this is the place for you! We tried chicken tacos, Pupusas, and a Margherita! All amazing! I am usually not a chicken tacos person, but these changed my opinion! The chicken was seasoned so uniquely and it was so flavorful! Also don’t forget the portion size for lunch time… It was HUGE! And the rice and beans were excellent! For the Pupusas, I have not had anything like this since years ago when my friends mom made traditional homemade Pupusas. These were exactly the same! I highly recommend these and you can not beat the price of $ 2.25! This place is a must try! The only downside is the service is a little slow because there were not many workers when we arrived, but a very friendly staff :)

Dos Tequilas was A-OK. I would go there to eat again. The staff are exceptionally friendly, courteous, and eager to please. The service was very prompt. The food was okay. Nothing I’d rave about. The chips were nice — light and crispy, but the salsa was like red-colored water with some occasional pieces of onion, tomato and cilantro in the bottom if you really scraped the bottom of the bowl with your tortilla chip. I thought maybe we just got a bad batch, so I asked for another bowl of salsa and it was the same — watery and tasteless. The enchiladas were pretty good. Nothing to write home to mom about, but they were fine. My wife had a margarita and said it was very good. She said they were very generous with the tequila and she might need me to carry her to the car. All in all, it was fine. I’d be willing to go back and try something else on the menu. I probably won’t bother with the chips and salsa though.
