I wanted to thank Darrell, Gregg and Judy for there kindness and professionalism during our sad time. The service at the beautiful home was amazing and the rooms were perfect for setting up photos. The video that Judy put together was so well done. I cant thank you enough for such an amazing experience even though it was very hard. You made it so special and Im sure my Mom was looking down smiling at the entire day of rememberance. Thanks again, Larry Winnick

I would highly recommend this funeral home if you live in the area. I will give Greg Walley and his staff an A+ in the service provided for my dad’s funeral. He guided my Mom, sister and I through the whole process from A to Z. In difficult times Greg made our family at ease during the whole process and events.

When we were facing the imminent death of a loved one in our family, I had no idea where to begin. Being new to the area, our family didn’t have any connection to a particular funeral home in Loudoun County. I looked online for funeral homes and after calling a couple of others in the area, I talked to Greg Walley. Unlike the two other area directors that I spoke to, I felt life Greg actually cared about our family rather than about the bottom line. He was very patient and kind on the phone and walked me through the whole process and answered every question that I could throw at him. The entire Colonial family was very gracious and went above and beyond to make sure that the memorial service honored the memory of our sister. If you are looking for compassion in your hour of need, I would strongly recommend that you and your family use the services of Colonial Funeral Home.

This place is full of liars. They told us they could do a Jewish burial and preparation and came to take the body. When we met with them the next day, they had no idea what a Jewish burial meant, had no idea if there was even a Jewish cemetery in the area but at the same time, just straight out kept lying to us, saying they have done many Jewish burials!!! Not only did they have no idea about the rituals, they kept mixing up Synagogue and Church! What a horrible thing to do any time, but especially during this time.
Then, to make matters worse, after we decided to go with a different funeral home, they released the body without consent of the family! The law states that they must call family before the body is released and they did not do that! We will be filing a claim as this is completely unacceptable.
These guys pop up in the top google search for a reason — they pay for it! Run from them — far away!
