Fidos & Felines

We travel quite a bit and have a very large Maine Coon named Harold the Cat. With our 3 human kids now out of the house, Harold is our «baby boy» (even though he is quite large). We always prefer using in-​house pet sitting vs. kennel options. Over the years with Harold and preceding pets, we always used our kids and our close friends for our pet sitting needs before turning to Jayne and Larry Sikyta at Fidos and Felines. We were looking for a «personal touch» service, one that felt like «family» was taking care of our pets, and one that we could trust with coming into our house, getting our paper and mail, checking on our property, etc, and one that was reliable, dependable, affordable, and friendly.
We found all that with Jayne and Larry with Fidos and Felines. They took the time to come into our house, meet us, meet Harold the Cat, and get to know our home, property, needs, and our personal expectations. We have used Fidos and Felines for years every time. They are close by and a home business in Lee’s Summit (important to us as well), reliable, affordable, and above all, trustworthy and family-​like. We consider them an extension of our family, and we trust them with our most valuable possessions.
Above all, Harold the Cat loves his twice-​a-​day visits by Jayne and Larry, he is taken care of in his home environment, he is provided with family-​level love and care from Jayne and Larry, and at the end of every visit, Harold is as happy as can be.

Fidos & Felines are my cat sitters and I think they are the best. We first used them nine years ago when we took a vacation and they are terrific. They not only took good care of our two cats, they fed and watered them, watered the plants and took in the mail. They like animals and our cats received daily socialization in our home during our absence.
Even though it had been a while since we used their service, Jayne remembered us and was pleased to accept our return visit. She came over before our trip to get the keys and to meet our newest cat. The other cat had passed since we last used their service. Jayne was also able to become acquainted with Miss Pooh.
Jayne and Larry are great, Larry fed Mr. Bub cat treats and made an instant friend for life. We most recently used Fidos & Felines this past week and just arrived home early this morning to find our mail neatly stacked ready to read, a nice note from Jayne and Larry telling us about their week with our cats.
Jayne texted us during our vacation to give us updates on the cats and we were welcome to do the same, if we wanted information about our fur babies.
What I most appreciated was the peace of mind knowing that my cats were in good hands, being fed, having their boxes scooped and that someone was keeping an eye on the home front. I totally trust Jayne and Larry and would recommend Fidos & Felines to anyone looking for pet care in their own home in the Lee’s Summit area.
