AMBIANCE: new, modern, clean, and bright. booths, tables, and bar space. LOCATION: small strip mall off of the main st. make sure to look it up on the map or you may miss the turn. SERVICE: great service, quick and friendly, accommodating FOOD: FINALLY some good sushi in Lebs! I was so glad to hear this was opening. I am a medical student in town, this opened during my 3rd year so I was not in town much, but every time I came back, this was always for lunch. Their happy hour/lunch menu is just unbeatable! Food is good, the execution of the actual rolls could be refined and tighter, but the food is fresh. PRICE: I have only come during the lunch hour, and their deal is just crazy good. $ 9 for 2 rolls, soup and salad. That is what you call a student friendly pricing. And the menu isn’t much limited for this deal either. The rest of the menu looks to be averaged priced during other hours. No complaints. Will continue to come back if I ever come back to visit now that I have graduated.

After we finished eating, we watched as our waiter floated around us, completely ignoring our table. However he had time to flirt with the girls behind us three separate times before he stopped at our table once since dropping off our food It took 40 minutes for him to bring my fiancé a refill on his water. The food is lacking, and the service even worse. Save yourself the pain, and go to Ginza in Albany. The food and service is far superior there.

This has been my go to for sushi since moving here last summer. I thought it was going to be difficult to find decent sushi having come from an area where there are sushi places every couple of miles and where I had 3 – 4 favorite places. Momiji has helped me stay connected to my love of sushi without having to travel. And it’s delicious! The sashimi and nigiri are amazing! The blackened tuna is a party in your mouth. They recently revamped their menu and are really making an effort toward improvement and growing as Lebanon grows. One area that needs improvement is their service time. Not on the part of the sushi chefs. The wait staff are either consistently shorthanded or just distracted – I’m not sure which one. But as they grow and offer other services(Delivery!!), paying attention to the in-house guests continues to be important and shouldn’t get brushed aside.

We placed a to-go order this week, brought it home, and it was great! This is the first time we’ve eaten here, and we will be coming again. The poke salad, and all four rolls were delicious, especially the Spinal Tap. We look forward to dining in next time.

Awesome sushi, was not expecting the quality that we got for a little town like Lebanon. Service was a bit slow. The all you can eat sushi is definitely worth the price. Surprisingly good quality from the guys behind the counter. Very pleasantly surprised!

Came here today for lunch with my parents before I left town. Pretty good place! I’ve eaten here a handful of times and I like the food. Great selection and average prices. The wait time was excessive, hence why only 4 stars rather than 5. It took about 45 minutes for 4 rolls and mussels. But I wasn’t TOO bothered by the wait, it was the fact that we were the only ones there and it wasn’t communicated to us why we were waiting. However, don’t let that deter you from going! They had a great special today that my dad really loved. A jalapeño roll for $ 3.75! I ordered the mussels and did not care for them. Like at all. Very bland tasting. Maybe my taste is just off? They didn’t go to waste though:) My dad ate them! Hehe. Point being, you should go. And lebanon is lucky to have a sushi place like this in town.:)

I took my son here last night for his birthday dinner. The food itself was pretty good, but the service was absolutely horrible. One of our party never did get silverware even after asking twice for a fork. The servings to each one of us was brought out at different times, minutes apart. My food never showed up at all, so we had to ask if they’d forgot it. I was told they ran out of cooked chicken and needed to cook more. By the time my dinner arrived, everyone else had long ago finished their dinners. When I finally got mine it was good, but we an hour and a half into this by now! When the bill arrived, I was slightly shocked to see that the plate that was delivered so late was still at full price.(A whopping $ 8.99, great value) I paid it without comment to them, but even though the food was good, I won’t return. Had they even attempted to make it right, I would have given them another shot.

I lived on the Oregon coast for 5 years and would go to this restaurant in my town quite often. My favorite was the sushi! the delicious sushi was what I ALWAYSGOT! I recently moved to the area and was excited to know I didn’t have to say goodbye to my favorite place to be. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. Ambience was the same, people were nice, but food… Utterly disappointing. Sushi was okay, although the squid… Rock hard and so tuff I couldn’t even rip a chink off to even a bite size. Prices are WAY more and that shouldn’t be at all… Also the portions are way smaller :/I guess I better drive back to the coast of I want good food :) can’t complain to much about that. ;)

After a response like that, I think it’s only fair to give an extra star as it is/was well deserved in the first place. I have actually visited once since posting this last review. On that visit the restaurant was quiet and no one from the lottery place came in. The food was excellent and came out fast. Thumbs up!

For Lebanon this is quite good sushi. I previously tried their cooked sushi and I wasn’t very impressed but their basic uncooked sushi is very high quality entirely because of their fish quality. The fish is very fresh and tastes untreated and unfrozen, really amazing quality fish for a small town. I wish there were more sushi combinations for dinner as well as lunch, and maybe smaller sashimi plates since their rather expensive, however the quality of the fish really over-rules any of those minor annoyances. I seriously recommend this place more for lunch than for dinner because service is much faster and I personally felt the quality was much better during lunch than dinner. There are also a large variety of cooked japanese food that’s not sushi here and it’s good as well but at a sushi place I focus on the sushi for obvious reasons.

I am a sushi fan! My favorite at this moment is the Salem roll! I also get the Nigiri Salmon.(I hope I said it right this time. They always have to correct me). Anyways the Salmon is best when they cut it thicker, but sometimes they cut it way to thin and it’s disappointing. Anyways besides my pickiness it’s a very good place.

If you are looking for a cheap laxative then this is your place. The service was mediocre at best. The sushi was portioned very poorly. My friend ordered and they brought out the wrong dish, so when he went to tell the waitress, Marie, that it was the wrong thing she argued with him and insisted that he was wrong. The teriyaki chicken bento bowl was nothing but fat and tendons. But what do you expect when the guy making my sushi is whiter than I am. The only thing worth ordering at this shit hole is a glass of water.

We have never ordered anything we didn’t like. Sometimes can be busy but that is a good thing in Lebanon. Take out is hit or miss.

If your in the mood for sushi in Lebanon, Momiji is going to be your only option. Don’t fret though because it is a really good spot. This place ranks really high in every aspect except wait times. I’ve been here a half dozen times any they’ve only ever had one really overworked server. Its impressive how good she is at keeping everything rolling but there’s only so much one person can do. The wait has never been terrible but it is definitely worth mentioning. Otherwise the food has always been great and the service is always friendly.

I have eaten here about three times, good experiences each time. Food is always fresh, delicious, and friendly wait staff. Once we came in as a large group with lots of kids and were still welcomed. The beginners sushi platter is generous, and will leave two people feeling stuffed for $ 40. It’s not the most adventurous sushi, pretty tame, but still good. I love too many rolls to list… rainbow, Vegas, salem, dragon. What’s best is how many have cream cheese and avocado in them. The salads are good too. Plus they have a kids menu. It’s my favorite restaurant in the town.

Sorry Momiji — you’re slipping! Came in for lunch today — you had a group in the back — not huge, but a group and another table in the front that was finishing up. We were seated and not asked about beverages. Waited about 15 minutes and server took our order. We ordered water with lemon, small side salads, tempura appetizer and 2 rolls. Now usually, the salads arrive quickly along with the beverages. We sat for 30 minutes. When I asked our server if we could have our salads, I was told they were busy with the group in the back. About 10 minutes later the salads, appetizer and rolls arrived — all at once. So while we ate our salads our hot spirited grew cold and the sushi sat. Upon complaining about this to the server, and explaining that we had never experienced such shoddy service at Momiji, our server began to whine about how they were busy and had a new chef… I saw a lot of standing around by the cook staff and sushi chef and the«big group» turned out to be 6 people. If you can’t cook for 3 tables — you better do some review of your staff!!!

Great sushi for a small town. In town from So Cal and was not expecting to love the sushi as much as we did. The spinal Tap and Dragon roll were my personal favorites. The tempura veggies could have been crisper but other than that. Sushi was comparable to what I get in Los Angeles and the sushi chef was a white guy. Will definitely come back when visiting again.

They were nice, but this was fast food style, low quality sushi. Maybe I came in with unfair expectations because I have had my fair share of good sushi and was expecting that, but this was definitely more chain restaurant style sushi. Also, the waitress touched my food(like actually nudged one of the rolls out of place with her hand) so then used her hand to nudge it back into place. I think she was embarrassed which is better than of she hadn’t reacted at all, however I think she should have offered to do something(new roll?) The fact that this is a sushi restaurant in Lebanon is in itself an accomplishment. But either my expectations are unreasonable or they should improve. Maybe a little bit of both?
