home fires used to be a mile east in the red barn attached to the fruit stand, now it is conveniently located inside Dans grocery store. This place is AMAZING! Egg blossoms for 3.50 are a hearty breakfast, that’ll fill you up and possibly be the most amazing thing you’ve ever consumed. A huge selection of sweet baked goods and large variety of breads. you MUST try a carrot cake cupcake. You’d be a fool not to.

Let’s just start off with a string of nouns to give an idea of what this place is about. Egg blossoms. Danishes. Almond cookies. Cinnamon buns. Blueberry muffins. BACON bread.
You heard that last one right. Bacon bread. The secret to an amazing grilled cheese sandwich has been here all along.
I pop in from time to time to grab breakfast (it’s really hard to beat an egg blossom) or pick up a loaf of bread (the bakers are nice enough to split it into a half-​loaf for this swinging bachelor). That’s right ladies; he’s single AND knows where you can get bacon bread. Line to the left.
It’s a great place to stop for breakfast or a treat, and with Dan’s being attached it’s a piece of cake to grab a drink and even lunch if you’re planning on being in the mountains. Thumbs up.

1 mile East of Leavenworth in a red barn. Homemade fruit pies and tasty pastries. Egg blossom is like a mini-​omelette in a puff pastry — yummy breakfast! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Nice service too.
