I would give less stars but not a choice. This place is absolutely ridiculous! So I drive over on my lunch break and have been here since 100 pm (22 minutes) waiting! No one in line. No help at the counter. Only girl is a girl on the phone who has yet to make eye contact but when I say excuse me I am thrown a hand! WTF kind of customer service is this? No wonder I’m closing my account instead of depositing money today as I came to do.

I came here to help my 17 year old son open his first account. It was sort of stressful for him.
The personnel were very nice and friendly and gave you that small town feel which is nice.
After opening the account it became for obvious what we got ourselves into. If you use your debit card as a debit card, Texell will charge $ 1.50 for each transaction. This is in addition to any charges the ATM will charge. In addition they number of ATMs which are available within their network is very small, about 11%. Second, if you use your debit card as a credit card but attempt to purchase something which exceeds your current bank balance, then the charge is denied. You would of course expect this, the purchase is not approved. But what I didn’t expect is that Texell charges you $ 29 for each of these attempts. This is true even though the charge was never processed due to insufficient fund.
We tried to close the account but they would not let us, they said we had to wait 7 business days. I can promise you we will close it as soon as they let us.
This is predatory and I am surprised it is legal.
