Great Clips

I’ve been going to this location for a couple of years now. I’ve never really thought about writing a review before. I decided 2016 is my year to be heard.
I used to see the manager, Julie, at this Great Clips, however she has moved out of state. On my last visit with her, she recommended that I continue to go there and start seeing JoAnna. I did just that today. JoAnna did an amazing job on my hair. She listened to what I was looking for and looked at a couple of pictures with me on my phone. She took the time to explain different options and find out what I like from each picture. She suggested that we take my favorite elements from each and combine them into my own «short and sassy haircut.» Those were the magic words. I wanted sassy. She suggested a styling product and put some in my hair. Never once did she ask me to buy it. I did buy it because it made my hair do what I wanted it to and the price was right. I guess the point is she never made me feel like I had to buy it.
I will be back to see JoAnna. She is my new stylist. I recommend her to anyone who wants to be listened to and whoever wants a nice hair cut. I hope she stays there.

Crystal did a good with my hair this week. You cannot do a lot with my hair but she got the length and texture perfect. I usually like to stay with the same hairdresser once I find a good one so I’ll be staying here. Very reasonable price also.

The worst haircut I ever had. My back is way too short.

If you want your hair to be butchered and done in 5 minutes go to Tiffany. WORST GREAT CLIPS EVER. If you want a GREAT hairstyle go to Crystal at Great Clips at Lakeline. In fact all the hairstylists there take their time and give you what you want.

Terrible service, they wait around for someone else to take a customer that walks in. All have very outdated hair styles why would I want my hair done by someone like has a bad hairstyle.

First time visiting the other day but we will be back. My son and I went in the afternoon and they were packed but we were both called back in less than 10 minutes. Both our stylists, Julie and Heather, were very friendly. Julie was very patient with my son and his haircut was adorable. Heather was amazing as well, I have super thick hair and almost never get a cut I enjoy but she listened to exactly what I wanted, made a suggestion, and it turned out to be my favorite cut yet!
I took off a star for a conversation I overheard one of the other stylists having that wasn’t family friendly. But spent the majority of the visit talking about kids with the two stylists helping myself and son so it wasn’t too irritating.
Overall, I was pleased with the service. Two haircuts for $ 20 and they both turned out great. Friendly staff. Quick service and convenient location. Not too shabby.

Walked in at 8:30 and got a great cut. My hair has become trickier to cut in my middle aged years. Stylist followed my instructions exactly and it looks great. Only thing that kept me from giving this location 5 stars is that she could have taken a blow dryer to my hair to get all the scratchy clippings out. Didn’t realize this until I started scratching later! Surprised by the lousy reviews. I’ve been going to Great Clips for years and will continue to do so.

They did well. On a boy & a girl. The only thing I didn’t like is they didn’t ask for my «ok» before sending them off. My kids are 4 & 8 and their cuts need my seal of approval before being turned loose.
But nice stylists and good cuts and cheap.

I took my son (4 ½) there for a haircut. The cut was ok, the people were not. Every time we go in there, instead of greeting you nicely, they practically yell at you «did you check-​in online?» When you say no, there’s a bit of an eye roll and the usual «it’s going to be a while.» I’d rather go somewhere where the stylists like to be friendly to their customers.

One star for the online check-​in, and one star for the $ 6.99 haircut coupon. My son’s hair was butchered, and it’s not even worth going back to get it fixed as the next step would be to shave it off, which we can do (and did) ourselves. Never again will we step foot into Great Clips. This is the 3^rd time they’ve messed up one of my family members hair — different stylists, too! I know this isn’t a top of the line salon, but please make sure your stylists know what they’re doing before you hire them.

I’ve taken my kids here for 3 cuts now. 2 of the 3 ladies were great with the kids, friendly, patient, and did nice cuts. They made me happy to have found this place. The third did a good cut, but she was rude and impatient. My daughter was sitting still, listening, and trying to follow instructions, but the stylist kept scolding her for not holding her head just right. She literally scolded her about every 10 seconds throughout the entire cut. I know this isn’t a kid’s salon, so I don’t expect it to be over the top kid-​friendly, but the negative attitude really bothered me. I don’t think we’ll be back. I want to be able to walk in and have a good experience with whichever stylist we happen to get.

Reasonable haircut with different results from different stylists. Only a few bad hair-​cuts out of years of going and quite a few locations to choose from and the people who work their are nice and sometimes you land a hotty!

Love the online check-​in feature.
