We decided to visit this place today. My wife would have rated it two stars but I found something I liked so I’m giving them three. You can see my standard spiel about tea rooms in my other tea roomish reviews. The good: I liked their egg salad sandwich on a croissant. And, their tomato basil soup was okay. The bad: The parking is terrible. Their parking is in the rear. There’s very little paved parking and a person with a large SUV had parked near the door in an area not marked for parking(probably because they found no where else to park) and this ended up blocking two of the other scarce parking spots. We wound our way around and circled back onto the street and into the the lot again. As we arrived this second time someone was leaving so we took their spot — otherwise we’d probably gone somewhere else. Then, when we were leaving someone had parked in an inconvenient location making it hard to get past and we were afraid we’d scrape the side of our car. They’re a little pricey. The sandwiches come packaged with soup or salad, and a small desert. I didn’t want a salad(they’re often a disappointment in tea rooms). I didn’t want a soup plus they didn’t have one I particularly care for. And, I didn’t want any of their offerings for desert. But, it’s a package deal and you have to buy them all even when they don’t have anything you want. The service was very bad. I don’t think it was the server’s fault, I think they were just severely understaffed and couldn’t make their rounds in a timely manner. The place has much more table space than their parking could accommodate. My wife said her chicken salad sandwich was barely okay. Then, they had a lady who came to every table hawking her massage services. This seemed inappropriate and interrupted the server in one of her few visits to our table so we had to wait our turn a second time in her very long queue. My wife vowed never to come again, and since I only go to tea rooms when she takes an urge, I won’t be back either. Since parking is in the rear, I don’t have my usual shot of their façade. Update: My wife urged me to change the rating to two stars, so I did. ___ We’ve Eaten Out Every Meal for more than 25 years

This tea house is adorable! I can’t wait until my daughter gets old enough to bring her here. It is a refurbished house, with a warm and cozy feel. The server was very attentive, and gave great suggestions on which teas to choose. The food was pretty basic, but not bad. Good pricing is always a plus!

I just left this charming restaurant under the oaks in League City… I have been under the weather & Jessica the owner personally took good care of me. I had a bowl of the soup of the day, Chicken Risitto & it was wonderful. Along with a cup of fresh loose leaf Jasmine tea & finished off my lunch with a slice of Key Lime Pie… I highly recommend stoping by & trying for yourself!

The food is not consistent. I have been there 5 times now, and the food has never tasted the same from visit to visit. The recently had a complete staff turnover. Not sure what was going on of course, but when we asked the waitress, she was thrilled to tell us that«everyone just went crazy one day» This place is close to work, so we have gone several times, but I am not sure that I will be back. The portions are small, even for a tea room, but especially for the price. The soup comes in a «bowl» that looks like it came from a play tea set. 4÷11÷2016UPDATE — changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 after my visit today. They were out of chips. The only side option was a broccoli salad, which was inedible, just swimming in a sugar/mayo sauce — YUK. They had a Shrimp Chowder that tasted good, in fact two of us ordered another cup, after we finished our sandwiches, because we were still hungry. The second cup was a mistake for me, because I found a hair in it, of course it wasn’t until I had eaten most of it! GROSS. The serving sizes are just too small, even for a «tea room». I paid $ 14 for lunch(no drink) and left without being full. Of course the hair took care of the hungry feeling for me. Will not be back.

A 5 star tea room in beautiful downtown League City. Impressive staff, extensive menu, and a wonderful ambiance — and I’m a guy. My wife and I had the chicken salad with cranberries and the egg salad sandwiches, both were excellent. I will try the Chicago beef sandwich on our next visit. Yes, it’s a place for women, but there are things on the menu that will appeal to men as well.

What a quaint place! The parking is in the back of the building and I was concerned that it was closed because the parking lot was empty upon first glance, but I was relieved when I finally saw some cars! I came here for lunch. They have a good selection of items, and I did see that their special that day was turkey chili, which I love, so I opted for a small cup of it and the veggie wrap, which has hummus on it. Everything was so tasty! Service was great, too … fast & friendly! I will definitely come here again for a nice meal! PS, They are offering a Valentine’s Dinner, too, that you have to RSVP for.

If you are looking for a quaint place to have a light lunch and catch up with the girls this is a prime location. This tea house actually serves TEA! There is a good variety of black teas form around the world along with other teas like green, oolong and rooibos to name a few. My cucumber, avocado sandwich came with options for bread and sides. I chose the marble rye and a cup of homemade mushroom soup to accompany. The meal even comes with a «small bite» dessert for a fine finish. Service was good. I was served immediately upon arrival and was given a complimentary raspberry scone. Yummy! I would recommend this cute little tea house to anyone near this area.

I realy enjoyed this tea shop. The grape chicken salad was delicioso! I have been to all the tea shops in Old League City and I prefer this one for their chicken salad and sides. The owner and waitresses were very accommodating and you could tell they take pride in their business. I got the sandwich, kettle chips, a bowl of soup, and a chocolate cookie all for $ 10.50. Pretty good deal I would say. I definitely plan to come back. Thank you!

I very much enjoyed lunch at this tea house. I seek out tea parlors for lunch and am always looking for one with loose leaf teas without an impetus on herbal blends(with no actual tea in the blend). This tea house has«real» tea with choices including Kemmun, jasmine, and Earl Grey. I had the petite plate with. Guice if 3 small sandwiches if my choice and a petite dessert. I particularly enjoyed the spinach with pimentos.
