Don’t. Just don’t. I thought I’d give them a try because it’s not too far from where I live. Not only did their food lack flavor, or resemble anything Asian, but they failed to stock or use use appropriate ingredients. For example, they substituted Italian linguine for a Singapore chow mein. Hands down the worst«chinese» I’ve ever had. After keeping it in the fridge overnight, I got over my guilt for wasting food and chucked it.

Very disappointed, the last three times I have called they have been closed yet the recording says they are open. It has been Monday night also Wednesday night and Thursday. I assume they are closed since I called more than 10 times and no one answered the phone. Just trying to get some takeout

We have been looking for a good chinese restraunt and this did not disappoint. We loved their house fried rice and the sweet and sour pork was delicious! I loved that they serve the sauce on the side, so the chicken wasnt soggy by the time we got home. They also so threw in some free sesame balls for free — a yummy cinnamon dessert, I would recommend this place for sure !

I love this place! It is right on the border of Layton and Kaysville. As a citizen of Kaysville I have frequented this place often. I love their Sweet & Sour Chicken lunch special for only $ 4.99. It is delicious. I also love their hot and sour soup that comes with it. The owner and her family are awesome people as well. They also have a pretty awesome website. Check this place out!

My co-worker and I had lunch here this past weekend, we ordered it to take out. I was impressed with the serving size, it was more than I could eat. I had the low mein veggie style and there were a lot of broccoli and carrots. She had the Orange chicken whch looked delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of their salad but the rice and egg rolls were very good

The staff is very attentive. The dishes range from $ 6 — 10. The Wor Won Ton soup is very good

I wish i could give it zero stars. Never again are they getting my money. 3 bites of meat is all i had. The rest was just to fill my plate. Ive never given a review but i felt everyone needed a fair warning

Food is good. Good portions. Server was great. Only complaint was getting our ham fried rice 5 minutes after rest of food came. I like to eat my rice with my meal not after. But will come back or get the delivery. Always good to have a Chinese delivery on hand.

The Little Orient has consistently provided a good value for lunch on many occasions over the last several months. The lunch special changes daily and there is a choice of two dishes. Usually one is a vegetable dish while the other is a sweet and sour type of menu item. Today I had the vegetable Lo Mein which came with soup and an egg roll for $ 4.50 including tax. The quality of the food is fairly good. I would consider it an Americanized style of Chinese food and not particularly authentic. I recommend it primarily for its value menu and consistent level of quality.

We’ve tried LO a couple of times in the past month and we’re pretty impressed. The servings are large which my husband loves and the food ranges from average to really good. We’ve gotten the combination dinners which are soup or salad, chicken chow mein, rice, an egg roll, and one entrée. We’ve tried Sweet & Sour chicken & pork, Cashew Chicken and Kung Pow Chicken. The Egg Drop soup is the best I’ve ever had. I love it! The egg rolls are also delicious! I don’t normally like egg rolls but something about these is better than others I’ve had. The chow mein and rice are average. Good but not great. The three entrees we’ve tried are all very good. I like their S&S sauce more than any other I’ve ever had. It’s not so thick and gloopy as most. The chicken in everything is good — non fatty, non gristley. Some places use the icky bits of chicken and it’s just gross but LO uses the good chicken. We live close enough to go pick up our order so we haven’t used take out. We are now regular customers.

I have definitely had better than Little Orient, but I have also, definitely, had worse. I’m not a huge fan of the Chinese classics here — sweet and sour, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, etc. But the pan fried noodles are amazing. As are their potstickers. The inside could use a major remodel job, but, for what you pay, I think you get decent food, service, and atmostphere.

This is our go to for delivery when we are even to lazy to throw Papa Murphy in the oven :) Decent food — kinda spendy for what you get or I would have rated 4 stars.

The Kung Pao Chicken was great! Veggie Lo Mien and spring rolls were good too. Loved that they delivered on Hill AFB. Quick and reasonably priced. I’m looking forward the trying more menu items.

When staying on Hill AFB, we flipped through the listing of local restaurants. Little Orient was the only place that delivered to base that was not pizza. We ordered the general tso’s chicken and some fried rice. The meal was enough for us for the night and breakfast the next morning. We probably could have eaten it for lunch had we been somewhere to keep left overs. The fried rice was delicious and moist. The general tso’s chicken was a good level of spice and more than plentiful. My only complaint was the delivery — for a place that delivers to the base you’d expect them to know their way around, but the delivery driver got lost for about 30 minutes. However, we greatly appreciated them taking the time to call us and be patient with us while trying to tell them where we were when we had no clue ourselves. Eventually we found our delivery driver running around the building and we were more than appreciative of them actually still delivering.
