So, I know this is not Blowfish and I am hundreds of miles from an ocean, but wow, was this Sushi missing the spot. I stopped in the Happy Hashi for a quick lunch simply because there was a total lack of options in the area. I should have been concerned when the parking looked like a scene from the Walking Dead. Inside, I found that I was going to increase the amount of customers by 50%, this is when I really started to worry. The service was decent, but not very professional. It seemed as if I was hanging out in someone house and she was helping me out by getting me food. When not at the table, she and other staff stood at the Sushi bar chatting. Now for the really scary part, the sushi. It was just not good. Far from fresh, rice over cooked and seaweed wraps were stale. There wasn’t really any good part this adventure, except, I didn’t get sick. I am sorry Happy Hashi, I am happy to say, I will not return.

I went with a friend and we decided to have sushi. The food was really really good, but the service was so slow. We walked in at about 7:30 pm on a Saturday night. There was a full habachi table and a habachi table with one couple. We waited a couple of minutes for someone to seat us, and we were seated on the sushi side which had one group of 3 men. My friend and I each ordered one roll, but the wait was incredibly long. Again, the food was so good that I wanted to order another roll, but didn’t have time to wait another half hour for one roll. The server was very polite and pleasant, but the wait time for everything, including paying for the meal, was just too long. If they can improve that, I’d be more than happy to make this a regular stop.
