Springhill Suites by Marriott

Awesome friendly associates. Glad I stayed here. Clean and fresh space. Very accommodating. Will stay again if ever in the area.

All and all average stay at a hotel. stayed for two nights. Checking in was No problem. Friendly staff. The lobby and room were both clean. The free internet ran very slowly. The complementary breakfast had room for improvement. The bread was stale both mornings and the yogurt was frozen solid. room service left a note saying that the room was cleaned after my first night, but the bed was not made. The redeeming factor of this hotel is it’s location. It’s in one of the safer areas of Lawton and right next to the highway. Oh and cracker barrel is right next door!

The staff was decently attentive if not overly outgoing. They made a mistake and booked us into a single room not a double room, but they were quick to fix it.
The pool was down for maintenance which was a HUGE disappointment. The «gym» was also a tad lame, with just a few machines to it.
The daily free breakfasts were better than average for free-​motel fare in my experience. Other than the «turkey sausage» which may have been made from beaks and that little thing that hangs from under their chins. The selections were varied and everything seemed pretty fresh.
The beds were soft and the kitchenette was handy for snacks, drinks and left overs.
Not a bad place, but maybe not my first choice in the future. It was REALLY close to the freeway, that’s a BIG plus and it has a decent sports bar and a Cracker Barrel across the street.

This was my first trip to Lawton, OK and most likely my last stay at this Marriott. I have been a fan of Marriott for years but I was not a fan of this one. I will say that most of the desk staff was very friendly, the lobby was nice and clean. Unfortunately I was checked in by a clerk named Whitney who was unfriendly and also untruthful which I quickly found out after I spoke to the desk manager. The complimentary breakfast was exactly average and they don’t serve bacon. Fortunately there are other choices in the area for the next time I go to visit my soldier in Fort Sill.

I always stay at this Marriott when I am working in Lawton! The staff is so so friendly and the breakfast is pretty nice, too! I’ve never stayed at the Fairfield behind this hotel, but why mess with a good thing?! This is my home away from home :)

The Room: Spacious, clean, quiet, with plenty of room to hang out, sleep, etc. Empty mini-​fridge to keep food (not a mini-​bar designed to rip you off), sink & mirror area separated from the bathroom (toilet & shower) allowing for multiple people to get ready at once.
The Staff: nice, helpful, courteous.
Breakfast: Very good, some assortment of biscuits, eggs, and sausage. Everyday, four different types of cereal, waffle maker, yogurt with brown sugar and walnuts. Milk, OJ, and apple juice, bagels, toast, and cinnamon buns.
Bonuses: Free fresh baked cookies, free WIFI, free breakfast.
MY BIGGEST /​ONLY ISSUE: Eating breakfast was the least environmentally friendly experience ever. In one day I used a styrofoam bowl, two styrofoam cups, styrofoam plate, a plastic yogurt container, as well as plastic silverware. This could easily be rectified if the hotel chose to use paper plates instead, still not great for the environment but a step in the right direction.

Nice hotel, nice rooms and nice staff. The only complaint I have is the gym, they have one elliptical, two treadmills and an old cycle, no weights
