I have been to the dining hall about 4 times. Each time I went I had to wait a really long time to get pizza. The oriental part offers noodles or rice with veggies and a meat. I got chicken, veggies, and noodles. It was not good.

Another low bid experience. Changed from Sodexo to Aramark this summer. Who knew it would get worse rather than better. I tried the new vendor several times this summer and found very slim pickings every time. I thought it was because it was a summer session, and at dinner while waiting for a night class. The same conditions at the dining facility continue into the new school year. There are very few good food choices: generic institutional food like one might find in an army dining facility. When I told a manager that the soda station lacked ice, I was informed the machine doesn’t work. When asked for their plan B for providing ice for patrons, the manager had no answer. The desert area had a few cookies, and several platters of cupcakes, none of which looked great. The mongolian grill was unmanned when I came in at 5PM(which one would think would be the time of day that a college dining facility would be doing some of its best business). Pizzas had been sitting out for some time, the same half dozen pieces of semi-dried pizza each time I walked by. The hamburger staff person was very pleasant and put a couple pieces of fried chicken on my place when I asked him about it. Two minutes later, a different staff person hassled me for having«taken» the chicken off a plate without taking the plate. He turned nicer when I told him his colleague put it on my plate rather than me taking it. The upside was that there was plenty of seating. Apparently word is out that this is not a great place to eat. I think they run it this way to encourage us to eat at the new franchise food sites located around campus instead. The line to the Subway franchise was long, and the food looked both fresher and better tasting. Guess I’ll have to avoid the main dining facility in the future.
