Carvel Ice Cream and Cakes

I like carvel. It’s one of the ice cream shops where I’ve never been disappointed when I paid them a visit.
On my last visit I ordered two scoops of ice cream in a cup (mint chip and cherry vanilla), which was just under $ 4. Scoop sizes were generous, and like other ice cream shops, if you’re not familiar with a flavor, they’ll let you sample.
The cherry vanilla had this rich milky flavor with large chunks of cherry mixed throughout it, and the mint chip had mini chocolate chips that loaded the mint part of the ice cream. Who doesn’t love ppl who aren’t stingy with their chocolate chips?
Customer service is great, and there’s a few tables for sitting both in and outside, but parking can be an issue since it’s right next door to a chipotle, although the lines inside carvel are rare, unlike chipotle, so check them out!

I love Carvel, I have since I was a little girl and my dad would take me, way back then in the 80’s lol the closest location was in Tucker. Now I have one just a mile or 2 away and I take my son. The icecream is just as good as I remember and I am happy to share this with my son. The service is always good and friendly and the prices are great for the amount you get.

1 star is one too many. Store isn’t very clean and the hard ice cream tastes like it’s partially thawed then refrozen. Less than friendly management — Bruster’s is 100% better!

First time at this location. Fast and friendly service. And the Icecream is delicious

If you want the best cake you’ve ever eaten, get a Fudgie The Whale. I thought my 32 year old boyfriend had some kind of complex when he wanted this as his birthday gift. That is until I tried ol’ Fudgie.

Stopped by here after getting Chipotle (they are right next door)… I had the Strawberry Shortcake sundae dasher. It was pretty tasty. I’m not a big ice cream person but wanted to check this place out. Fast service. Good ice cream. Slightly over-​priced though. The small was $ 5.29. Nothing too special, 3 stars.

I am a New Yorker and we love Carvels! I had the chocolate thick shake float made with hard ice cream and love it! I am so happy I found this place. I finally have a good ice cream shop!

I love Carvel’s-I’m a northerner. what can I say. I was hurt by the fact that this store was about to close but so glad someone came in and saved it! They have fresh ice cream and good service-​the parking for this strip mall actually sucks but that has nothing to do with carvel. I love their Wednesday specials and the bananas foster. its a little drive for us now that the hamilton mill location closed down but I’ll do it! lol It beats brusters any day!
