Best tire shop I’ve used in Lawrence! Very friendly and fast service. The owner is extremely nice and always ready to help! I have used k’s twice now and both times were very pleasant. I would recommend this shop over any of the the other in town. I’ve used Big O, and entire and k’s is by far the best!

I had two tires installed and had my rear tires moved up front on my vehicle. The next day I went on a road trip out of town. As I was gassing the vehicle. I noticed two hub cabs missing. Called them up and they said to bring in my receipt when I bought some and they would replace it. New hubs came to $ 160. They wrote me a check and we’re very friendly. Would recommend them as they are a honest reputable company.

K’s tire is no doubt the best in town! The staff is so wonderfully friendly, the service is fast, and the prices are great. You don’t have to make an appointment, either! I blew a tire, and they ordered one that came in the very next morning and didn’t expect payment until after the service was finished.
When I was putting the spare on, my car fell off the jack and bent something that was scraping even after putting on the new tire, so I came in later that same week and they looked at it, bent the part back into place within 5 minutes, and did not expect any payment for the service. They are friendly and fair and I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else for basic services!

My tire blew out this morning on 1 – 70 as I was driving to Topeka. When the tow truck arrived and asked me where to I told them K’s Tire without hesitation. There are many tire shops in Lawrence much closer than K’s, but you’d be hard-​pressed to find a set of tire guys as nice as the staff out there.
Kay sold the shop a couple years ago, but the new ownership was well-​vetted and they have picked up that same standard of service that Kay set all those years ago when he first opened. They will work to get you the best deal possible on tires and when you roll in with an emergency they are quick to fix you up.
45 minutes after my car was wheeled into their lot, I was back on the road and my wallet was mostly intact (no thanks to the tow company).
