I was the only one waiting to be served and was ignored by seven employees working behind the counter. several employees passed by me and did not serve me. I just wanted to buy a coffee and bagel to go. I did not want to spend the whole day there waiting to be served. This place is not customer friendly I can’t understand how they stay in business when there are many customer friendly restaurants in the area.

Ok usually the 2nd time is the charm… but nope never again! I ordered a plain bagel toasted with butter. It took 8 minutes for anyone to take my order. There were only 2 people behind the counter at 7:10 in the morning. Really? isn’t that the busiest part of the day for stores like this? Oh and by the way when a 3rd person came out to take orders the phone rang, he took the ordered and proceeded to start working on that order so me and the 4 people behind me had to wait longer.
So anyway as I wait along with the flies all in the place buzzing around (disgusting) I am standing there saying to myself i sure hope this bagel tastes better than the one I had 2 weeks ago. Well nope not this time either! So I will NOT be going back to this place again! Honestly they need to clean the place up, get rid of the flies, and get someone in there who can really make bagels! They got me for my $ 2!

What are you guys doing?! I walked in the other day and there were flies everywhere! BARF! I was so put off, I left. Get back on track please… I don’t enjoy purchasing a lame salad from panera bread…

fresh, fluffy bagels and they deliver?! Sold.
I used to go to The Bagelry in Cedarhurst, but was prompted by a close friend to give Island Bagel Bar a try, which I did– and I haven’t been back to Cedarhurst for bagels since.
Service is prompt and friendly. Their bagel spreads are tasty-​whether it’s scallion cream cheese or egg salad. Their tuna is just alright; it’s lacking something.
I took a star off, because they could do a better job keeping the place clean.

Walked into this dead store, only to encounter an unresponsive employee making himself a sandwich while i stood there waiting for a good 3−4minutes. Ended up walking out without ever receiving acknowledgement. Definitely would not recommend, and didnt look very clean as he was grabbing everything for his sandwich bare handed. Gross!
