Went here with a couple of friends, the other day. The food was really good, and I had a ton of leftovers! The price was fine, since I ended up getting two meals out of it. The staff was really good at making sure we had every thing we needed! We were too busy catching up to pay attention to them, but they have TVs in their booths that would be really cool for a game day.

I went to this place because I could smell the aroma of the smoke wafting on Massachusetts Street. I was not disappointed I had the lovely burnt ends I’m glad they didn’t run out my friend had some baby back ribs his wife had a salad with their green goddess dressing it was wonderful and my wife had the turkey. We all enjoy the atmosphere and the food was great will be back soon.

Went here one time out of curiosity — I wanted to e who was replacing Buffalo Bob’s Smokehouse that had been there since my early childhood. I was sorely disappointed at this place. My best advice to the owners who are conveying to their customers that all of the meat here is smoked in-​house is STOP LYING. Either that, or stop using the cheapest meat out there. Seriously.
The smoked turkey tasted like cheap deli turkey. Coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise with cabbage and a hint of sugar. Rib tips were awful. Baked beans were very plain, as if they’d come straight from a Bush’s can.
I’m not sure how else to describe this place. Oh, wait, it’s completely overpriced. I do not think it will last.

I just had baby back ribs and they were very good, the sauces are excellent, esp sweet. Love the BBQ beans, no question the best I ever had. I want the Mass Ave site to succeed, so nice for an out of towner who visits often to have Biggs right in downtown. Mass Ave so many choices, give Biggs a chance nice relaxed concept restaurant.

Meh… my 9 dollar sandwich would get a better review if it was a 5 dollar sandwich.
I wanted to try this place. I was excited walking in. Looks great. The people are fantastic. TVs at every table is a big bonus.
I ordered a Carolina w burnt ends. Th e bun was a couple days old and I’ve had more flavorful meat. Beans corn and okra were ok.
I was happy ish with my lunch but frankly the next time I am on mass st I will eat something different and if I want BBQ I’ll wait until I am in kansas city.

Always been a fan of Biggs and this new location is great. Perfect for a quick bite before a game or hanging out and watching one there since every booth has its own tv.
Fun arrangement for ordering, quick service to get your food and good staff waiting on you.

I love Bigg’s on Mass St. My friends & I recently sat & watched a football game one afternoon & drank cold beers & ate lots of yummy BBQ! The food was great, beers were cold & the staff took great care of our table. Very accommodating. I love the BBQ & the unique sides. Great atmosphere. Thanks for the enjoyable experience.

Tried Biggs for the first and last time today. Had the half chicken plate with slaw and beans. Also 2 of their giant chicken wings. I may be put off bbq chicken forever. The half chicken and wings were HUGE but this was not a good thing. I don’t want to know what people do to chickens to grow them to this monsterous size. Badly undercooked. The rub was weird tasting. My beer tasted like the stuff they dip glasses in. Lawrence is not known for great bbq. I should have known better.

Stopped in here for lunch this week after realizing the place next door (715) had been closed for repairs. BBQ = pretty straight forward, right? Ordered the smoked turkey and, I’d be willing to bet, it was processed turkey. I’ve never seen smoked turkey shaved thin enough that it looked like deli meat, unless it’s at the grocery store. Beyond that, sides were bland at best. The bechamel (?) in the Mac and cheese was dull and watery. Nice atmosphere — hence the 2 stars.

Had the baby back ribs and brisket plate. The ribs here are so delicious and the brisket was nice and juicy. Three sauces to choose from too. I also like how fast the food arrived to the table! Plus Tv’s are everywhere.

Took a while to get our order right but they just opened 6 days ago. Great location. TVs everywhere. Order at the counter and find a seat. Food out fast!
