Bell Tower Cafe

Bell Tower Café is one of my favorite spots in Lawrence. They have delicious breakfast and lunch options (did you know they have GLUTEN FREE bread?! Makes me so happy), and INSANELY GOOD smoothies (healthy and whole — not sugary and processed). I have had their spinach salad with craisins and chicken salad and it was delicious! Had their turkey club on GF bread and it was very good. I have also had their greens smoothie and I get it every time I go there. My dream come true would be if they were open on Saturday/​Sunday. I work from here every Friday and the space is beautiful, full of natural light, and spacious. Last thing I’ll say is that the service is spectacular. Very friendly staff.

Beautifully cute café in historic mills in Lawrence. After meetings in this building, I treat myself to their muffin or coffee, both to savor! This artisanal shop is creative in their breakfast and lunch offerings, and promote healthy quality foods. Worth the higher prices for a breakfast place, but won’t break the bank.

I drove by here a few times and couldn’t ever find a parking spot. One day I tried again and finally found one. Trying to find the door to enter was a little difficult. It’s was early morning so I was craving a breakfast sandwich and a good cup of coffee. I walk in and was surprised how nice of a set up it was. Not a big place but I knew the food will be good. As I am checking out the menu I saw egg cheese sandwich with pastrami. Never had that before and I must try. Wow was it amazing so tasty and it was a big sandwich. Kept me full for a while and the coffee was fresh and also great. Will be back again to try something else.

I enjoyed a wonderful omelette at the Bell Tower last week. Wonderful surroundings, very friendly staff, and great prices — all wrapped up in a wonderfully warm and historic brick mill setting. It was also a great spot for me to get out my iPad, charge my phone, and get some work done (there are plenty of electrical outlets along the wall).
I only wish they didn’t close at 5 pm! I will be back.

I was in the Lawrence area for work last week and was searching for a place to grab breakfast and lunch. Saw this place around the corner and soo happy I decided to go in. The place was so relaxing, great décor, and great menu options. I ended up getting a green smoothie for bkfast, and a Cobb salad for lunch. Both were excellent!

Convenient, friendly, tasty, cheap lunch!
I got the grilled cheese with avacado; a tasty lots-​of-​cheese sandwich. The lemonade was good too. Together, I think it was about $ 7. (I recently moved out from Boston, so that seems like a great price; I don’t really know how it compares to others in Lawrence.)
On a weekday at lunchtime, there was a consistent line of a few people. The women at the counter seemed to know many patrons by name.
There’s seating spread across a couple rooms; they have a casual and friendly atmosphere. The entrance is through one of the seating rooms; the counter /​kitchen is off an indoor hallway.
As a vegetarian there wasn’t a lot on the menu that was available, but there is a build-​your-​own sandwich option, and the grilled cheese which I got.

I love this place. Located right next to Essex Art Center, they have incredible food. Daily specials are always changing and interesting. At least 2 or 3 soup choices. Food is super fresh and portions are big. Sandwiches are more than a meal and thankfully not typical. Wasabi tuna wrap, roast beef with Boursin etc.
Can’t rave enough about it.

I’ve eaten here regularly and when I do, I usually get a spinach salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top with honey mustard dressing. Its excellent. I’ve also ordered their soups and they’ve been homemade. A quality place.

This place is a Lawrence gem! Super fresh ingredients, great sandwiches, yummy soups, and scrumptious salads. This is my go-​to lunch place, and for coffee. They make a killer dirty chai, and milkshakes, and strong coffee, and so much more! The staff is really helpful & friendly. It’s not a huge restaurant, but they handle lunch take out rush like champions, producing quality food, and sandwiches made to order.
