She altered 2 pairs of pants — let the hem out on one pair and took in the waist on another so they didn’t sag, in a timely fashion. I’m happy to find someone who understands how clothing is put together in Lawrence, and knows how to adjust it. I’ve tried 2 other places, one in Lawrence and one in KC area, that weren’t quite as good, so this is my new go-​to. Also, when I called on one of her off days, she still answered her phone and took my information down. I think if you need a quicker turnaround, it’s possible as long as you let her know that — if not, your pick-​up date may be later.

Simply put, Susan is THE best in Lawrence. Trying to find a tailor for measurements has been a huge headache and she got it done in about 30 seconds as a walk-​in. A true professional.

My bridesmaid dress was too small and wouldn’t zip all the way. I was really worried that it couldn’t be let out enough to fit and I had never had anything altered before… I looked up a bunch of places in Lawrence and Ashley Alterations was the only place without bad reviews. Suzanne did a fantastic job on my dress and I thought the pricing was fair. And my dress fits now… Yay! :-)
