In its hay day, this was clearly a beautiful community. It is still a very attractive property, and for the area, I prefer this location to the newer high-rises being built in the busier parts of Laurel. However, the property could use a face-lift. The appliances are out of date and poorly maintained. When they do decide to replace something, it is with a cheap model that doesn’t work as well as the model being replaced. Also, it appears that management is doing everything it can to cut costs for the company; e.g., removing garbage disposals from the units(but keeping them on their website as an included amenity), refusing to hire proper snow removal companies for the winter, bringing in «energy efficient» appliances that cut costs for them but increase utility costs for the residents, and allowing maintenance staff to perform tasks that should be performed by certified professionals. Personally, I have been forced to put in multiple requests for the same issues, and have yet to see resolutions. I can honestly say that, were it not for my disdain for the hassle and headache of moving, I would have already left the property. However, if the rent continues to rise and service continues to dwindle, I will get over my hatred for packing, and find a new property worthy of my hard-earned money.
