Food was decent, but service was lousy. I ordered an egg white omelet platter with a side of sausage and toast. Waitress told me last minute that they did not have any shelled eggs and they brought me a yellow omelet. I never received my sausages nor my toast. I was charged full price as if everything was recieved. Waitress was a ghost.

Just ran in for a few breakfast items to go. Collette was wonderful. Seeing there was no one to take my order as I stood at the to go counter for a couple minutes, and immediately after she closed out the last patron in her line, she called me over to the check out line to take my order. She was pleasant. She made it easy. There was a line for people to be seated but that was understandable on this holiday morning. She got me in and out. My food was quickly brought out, it was hot and delicious. I do agree with other bloggers that service here over the last several years can be hit or miss. Today, it was a HIT!

I normal go to bob evan for breakfast and only it take some time to get the food. Me and my husband went the on tuesday night this week. We were waiting to be sitted one of the server said loudly” i am tired of this shit i am not going to taken them. Me and my husband looked at each other and turned around walked out. there was a dark skin gentlman at the register we asked who was the server who made the comment. The servers name is john and need to be retrained. Bob evans he is costing you a lost of sales

Waited over 30 minutes in line and still can’t place my order. Only 1 person working the register. Freaking if you are open at least have two people at the register!

It has taken me 15 minutes on the phone and 20 minutes in person to get a family sized order of bacon and a family sized order of sausage. The food was ready when I walked in the door. It was placed in a paper bag and left on the counter to get cold. The woman in front of me has been there for over 45 minutes trying to get her carry out order correct. The cook kept coming out of the kitchen with an attitude bringing the food that was messed up or missing. The manager Collette, zero people skills and totally nasty to customers. There are literally about 5 tables in the entire restaurant right now. The servers are all standing around laughing and the carry out is in shambles. And, unfortunately, it is like this EVERYTIME. My family loves Bob Evans!!! Please hire someone to pull this place back together and, more pressing, please give me my dang bacon!!! Thank you.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and was really let down. Sausage links were burnt on one side, toast only buttered on half of each slice. Might give them one more chance in the future but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

While the food wasn’t too bad, the bugs here are just nasty. But to top it off they were spraying industrial bug killer in the kitchen while cooking! You could smell the poison when they opened the kitchen door which was just nasty. They did discount me a kids meal when I mentioned the bugs were helping me eat my food!

Service was decent and that’s about it. Fruit flies were in our food and everywhere you walked. Eggs and pancakes were flavorless. The booth next to us smelled like a toilet. Thank god we were passing through the area so we don’t have to go there again.

I really debated between 1 and 2 stars for this visit. While the service was great and so was the food, having to constantly shoo away flies does not a good visit make. Invest in better pest control and develop better clean kitchen practices(fruit flies start somewhere) The servers and cooks are very awesome in contrast. They earned the extra star.

Bob Evans is hit or miss, sort of like Ihop. Service is normally up to par. They offer a large menu that will accommodate many different taste buds, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many sides to choose from and deserts as well. The portions are generous. One thing I really like is the speciality coffees and hot chocolates they offer with free refills. It would be nice if they had iced coffee though.

So I’m having a great experience. I read a few negative reviews before I stopped and the table next to me had a bad food experience, but I feel obligated to say that I am enjoying my meal, my service is excellent and I would definitely come back. I had the country fried steak with eggs over easy and replaced white gravy with sausage gravy. Tasted awesome. Probably too many calories but worth it lol My server Ericka was excellent. Did her job, made great suggestions, and checked on us an appropriate number of times. We are happy. Thank you for this food experience and good time with my son.

Worst place ever. Service is crap. Arrived with my family of 5. Greeter which is a server was trying to seat us with another servers table but she did not want us. So our greeter/server took us. After several minutes we were told we could not sit with my daughter in a chair at the end of our table so we would have to move to another table. We said no problem but while we were moving our server called out to the other server who did not want us originally that she now had a table. Bounced between servers and also tables.

Wow this place has really fallen a long way. The food is still mostly good but the service and the management is terrible. We took the herd last week, all six of us. It was almost eight when we got there and the crowd was gone but we sat for a solid ten minutes before anyone came for our drink order. Then another long wait to get drinks. The waitress then took our order and seemed to know what was up. We waited almost twenty minutes for two salads and a soup. Then another twenty minutes before the first three meals came out. Then after four or five minutes two more meals and finally when the other five were almost done the last meal showed up. During all of this time there were no refills brought even though a coffee refill was asked for when the salads were delivered. We asked for the deserts to go so we could get out. Unfortunately, this has been the norm for our last three or four visits over the last couple of months. They had a great manager for awhile and the staff was on point; now there is no management at all. While the service is terrible the food is still pretty good. Which is why we keep giving them another chance.

No hostess at the front for 10 mins. Staff appearance was ghetto and unprofessional. Attitudes the same just from looking into the place while waiting for a hostess. Needless to say we walked out. I’m glad we did. Saw 5 others groups walk out as well. Very pathetic manegment.

Food was good but the service could have been faster and better. The restaurant management team needs to invest some time in training the servers, our server made several mistakes because he didn’t write anything down to help him keep track of what we ordered. Also the time for the meal to come out was 40 minutes which is much to long to wait for a standard breakfast menu item. Only positives are good food and clean dining area.

Had a pretty good experience here while stopping in on a road trip. Including one time during a trip down to Florida years ago, this was only my second time in a Bob Evans and it strikes me as a kicked-up version of Denny’s or what Denny’s used to be. The service was quick and friendly and the pot roast egg dish was pretty good. We got there pretty early and just in time I guess because the line looked miserable when we were leaving.

Breakfast was great! Nice friendly waitress. I had the homestead breakfast with English muffin. I will definitely be back for breakfast again. Btw the sausage is always the BEST! !

Friendly staff and quick service for a Friday breakfast with a group of 12. Food was decent, everything came out prepared per our order. No complaints at all. I had steak and eggs, but my hash brown was bland and not very appetizing.

Really? Four stars for a chain? Yep, and here’s why. 1. Prices. There’s a 9.99 menu that includes salad, entrée, side, dessert. And that’s cheaper than buffets in the area. 2. Broccoli. I eat the stuff to stay healty, but theirs here is the most amazingly tasty broccoli I’ve ever eaten. If you put your ear down to the plate– no, closer— you can hear it screaming FRESHBROCCOLIRIGHTHERE. 3. the wait staff is really friendly. We’ve had four or five, and everybody’s just as nice as can be. THIS place is what Cracker Barrel always aspired to be.
