We have eaten here half a dozen times. Tonight they had a special, a three course dinner for $ 20. We both had the pot stickers in a light, mildly spicy curry sauce. So good. I had a sea bass entrée with ginger sauce and veggies, and mango sticky rice for dessert. The food is always perfectly fresh, the sauces enhance, rather than hide the food, and the presentation is lovely. Great service. Great value.

Best Thai food I have had in the area! Great sauces, and excellent service. Their lunch specials are also a great deal! A must go if you are craving Thai food.

If you are any where near the Latham circle do not miss this place. I you like duck and martinis this is the place. We had both the crispy duck and the international plate paired with the absolute martini for happy hour and you have a home run. The curry sauce is done to perfection. Since the kids are at Siena— we will be back.

Had Tom Ka Chicken soup, was very tasty. My friend and I both ordered different versions of pad thai and it was probably the worst pad thai ive ever had. it had an unexpected sweetness to it that didnt seem to fit and made it feel way too heavy. Service was very good. Overall so-so, probably wouldn’t go back.

The food here is truly great. We started off with the potstickers in the curry sauce and the calamari. The curry sauce was awesome. I could have eaten that by the spoonful. The calamari was so tender. We then had the duck which was the best around. My father has come to this bistro at least four times, for the duck alone. Very crispy. I had the sea bass with ginger broth. It was so light. Loved it. My husband had the duck international and he loved it. He finished the entire thing. Again the curry sauce was so flavorful with a bit of heat. We finished the dinner with the mango sticky rice. We have had this at other restaurants and were looking forward to trying it here. It did not disappoint. Love the coconut flavored rice with fresh mango. I would return as often as possible. It did not disappoint.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Where do I start? No air conditioning, no soap in the bathroom, burnt and greasy egg rolls and my Kee Mao had bad shrimp in it. Do yourself a favor and go to Sri Siam if you want decent Thai food. A place is pretty bad if you are writing a review from the restaurant.

I came here with my boyfriend and enjoyed authentic delicious Thai food. It’s my second time here and I will definitely be back. The food is light and really flavorful. Every bite will make your taste buds go crazy(in a good way). All veggies are cut fresh each morning. Healthy and delicious Food!

I got Kee Mao from here as take-out for lunch. The hostess that took my order was very friendly and it only took about 10 minutes to get my food. However, the food itself is nothing special. There isn’t very much flavor and there were fairly large clumps of noodles stuck together so not all the noddles are actually covered in sauce. Kee Mao is listed as being a spicy dish on the menu, but my food wasn’t spicy at all. My friend ordered Thai Fried Rice and said it was also lacking in flavor. I probably won’t be returning to this restaurant again because there are several other Thai restaurants in the area that serve better food.

I love coming here for lunch. The food is very good and authentic. I suggest that if you are going to have lunch for take-out call ahead.

First time at BKK and had a very satisfying experience! Had the coconut soup and it was very tasty. The menu represented a wide range of entrees. Service was great and value was very good. Looking forward to trying something else on the menu next time!

Everything I have had has been great. The Siam chicken is excellent. The papaya salad is also delicious. Hasn’t been busy any of the times we have been there, but hopefully people start coming. It’s good to have a good Thai food option in the area.

I’ve eaten at the best Thai Food restaurants in NYC. This restaurant is by far the best I have ever eaten at. Every time I go back I get something different and then I have a new favorite. You have to try this restaurant!

Let’s start with the name. BKK? If you’ve wondered what that means or stands for, then you probably haven’t flown to Thailand, specifically, Bangkok. BKK is the IATA airport code for Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. Arriving just before 8 pm on a Saturday evening, two other parties were just leaving, and both made the point to emphasize how good the food was. We now had the entire restaurant to ourselves. We were promptly seated and realized that the restaurant had not yet received its liquor license. The Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee($ 3.50 each) were comparable to those we’ve had at other Thai restaurants, and that means quite enjoyable. The manager/owner(?) was our server as we noticed three young Asian girls leaving the kitchen. He announced two additional menu specials for the evening, one of which my wife choice. Freshly made dumplings($ 6) filled with shrimp, pork, and mushrooms. There were four(4) to the order and each was served in its own Asian soup spoon. They were an excellent blend of flavors and my wife’s only complaint was that each was slightly too large for one-bite. My choice for an appetizer was the Fried Calamari($ 7) — crispy breaded slices of the body, not rings and no heads, and served with a sweet and sour sauce typical of Asian restaurants. The squid was properly cooked, not greasy and not in need of sauce. Another special that evening was Steamed Sea Bass($ 22). It looked beautiful in the bowl with broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, and other herbs and spices that gave it a good spicy tang. It was, in fact, delicious, my wife said, and my sampling agreed. My entrée choice was from the Crazy Bowl page of the menu — the Green Bowl($ 13) came with marinated grilled chicken with green curry, bell peppers, asparagus, and Thai basil, served over linguine noodles. Initially, I thought the curry should have been a bit more green, but its flavor was quite sufficient and satisfying. Too full for dessert, and not seeing anything that truly inspired us, we asked the manager if there were other related restaurants. He said they were related to another restaurant in Burlington, VT. While we are not likely to be driving to Burlington any time soon, we are likely to return here to try a few more dishes.

My husband and I walked in here for take out right when it first opened. We ordered soup and Curry. We were very pleased with the food. We love Thai food and the two items we got were some of the best we have had in the area, especially the curry, the chicken in the meal was very tender not over cooked like some of the places we have been to. The only issue I had was the price. $ 15 for entrees is a little steep for us. If they drooped the prices a few dollars we would probably be in all the time.
