Walked in, wasn’t busy, signed in, and the hairdresser takes her friend that just walked in… after I’ve been waiting… what is that bull. seriously train your staff better they obviously don’t know what customer service is. if this is a place for hairdressers to take their friends over paying customers idk how this place is still open.

It was my first time here. It was a good experience. My son and I both got haircuts. The haircut lady and the man at the counter were both friendly and nice. We will be back for sure. Thank you!

This place used to have so many clients that I didn’t mind waiting for my turn. But when I walk in, there’s one person working and I have a 20 minute wait… That’s ridiculous. There is a reason multiple locations have closed. Does anyone know where Gina went? Not only did she keep the place running, she brought clients.

I won’t be back. The last 2 haircuts we got here(out of maybe 5 total – for my daughter, my son, and myself over the year) were horrible. My son doesn’t need much – he keeps it short and just needs a nice fade; and I just wanted a trim with thinning out the bulk. My sons hair looks straight out of 1991 and my hair is all different lengths, so random, so choppy – I’m so confused. When I saw that she was«done», showing me the final result(aka hack job) I didn’t bother asking her to fix it. I just went somewhere else to have both our haircuts fixed. The salon I went to even asked me if I had done it myself(gah!), and wondered what the previous stylist had been thinking with my sons hair. Not to mention, the place is a dump. It is in a fairly nice area and not old, but looks so filthy inside. Tabitha’s Salon Takeover would have a field day with this place.

I am never a fan of a business that doesn’t let it give them money. I was a regular and if I was lucky I could get a haircut with a minimal wait. But for the times I have waited, there’s no one managing the place so the stylists just stick to their routine. I’ve never seen any management in there ever so very poorly run. My final straw was after waiting and hour and then having one of the stylists ‘appointments’ show up. Umm, thought this place didn’t take appointments. Will not return and that’s too bad because Gina is not only talented but has a great chair side manner.

Went in and was told there was a 25 min wait. Not to bad I though. They had 3 people working. Two of the three seemed to be doing every treatment in the book to the women they were working on. The third was finishing up. She then disappeared for about 20 min then came out and took the guy in front of my. Worked on him for about 5 min cleaned up and disappeared again for 20 min. The other two still working on the same people. After an hour waiting I gave up and left. On top of that the place is dingy and dirty and so were the employees. Maybe it’s for the best I didn’t get my cut there. Can never trust a place where the employees and care enough to make there own hair look semi good.

Las Vegas has a shortage of salons that have quality stylists and the only people that really know how to deal w/my hair seem to be people fresh out of cosmetology school. I am very particular about my hair and very rarely get my hair done for this very reason. I’ve been upset leaving out of almost every salon out here. Today was my second visit to this location and is the second time that I was disappointed. The Zip Code coupon book($ 9.99 for haircut and shampoo) brought me in and I just wanted a simple cut And I figured that since this time I was donating my hair, this might be a different experience than last time and maybe they won’t make me regret coming here. I was wrong. First off, if you’re planning to use the coupons, it doesn’t say it on there, but for long hair going short, it’s $ 19.99 I should’ve just had my husband rubber band and cut my hair at home then go to the salon. AND there was no shampoo. So they’re charging me more for something I could’ve done myself then gipping me a shampoo, fantastic! I HATE bob cuts, the flapper day style MAYBE, but my hair is too thick to have short hair and the style I was asking for and the way I wanted it to be styled, well, I’ve had it before and it worked. Long story short, I got a bob *sigh*. I tried to(nicely) guide her to what I wanted I even showed her a photo but she kept saying«Oh you don’t want that.» Uhm, well, I just said I did! Please don’t tell me what I want and how I want it, I(for the most part) know my hair better than the stylist. She kept saying«Wow, you have a lot of hair!» Yes, I know that, that’s why I asked you to do something and you’re doing the opposite! At the very end, I asked her if she could give me some side swept bangs, she nodded and as she was going to do them, I noticed that she was brought her hand lower than where the cut should start… She was giving me face framing laying– FUCK, I HATELAYERS. This was supposed to be the ONE haircut that the stylist wasn’t supposed to give me face framing fucking layers!!! Holy crap, I’m so annoyed. Then she asked me if I wanted the same thing on the other side, I said NO, she said«but it’ll be asymmetrical» so what?! And she did it anyway. *Insert angry face*. I don’t get a haircut very often so I’m just going to go some where that charges more bc at this rate the whole«You get what you pay for» saying totally applies to all the salons I’ve been to out here. Come here for a trim but if you’re looking for a particular style, go some where else!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in and the person working there sat in the chair and didn’t even look up or acknowledge me for ten minutes. I finally asked if she worked there and she pointed to the door. Someone who seemed strung out on drugs walked in stumbling over her words and asked if I wanted a haircut. «Uh… NO!» I will never go back there.

We just got a coupon book for 89148 and in the book it has an advertisement for $ 6.99 haircut but when we went there they said they don’t offer that at their location. We looked at the ad again and on the same ad it advertises this at 3 of their locations! I think that is poor service to not honor the price especially when you are advertising in the«89148» zip code coupon book! we will take our business to Great Clips for men/boys haircuts!

So I went to get a cut from my stylist Ellen, but she isn’t there anymore. If you guys are looking for her, she moved across the street to «pigs and pomps».

I should have paid more attention to one of the reviews here — the person who did my hair did not understand the concept of layering. I will not be returning. Can barely give this place one star!

Located in the same strip mall as Egg Works and 7 – 11. Haircuts are inexpensive($ 11.99). I go there to get my hair trimmed. I was nervous at first because I feel those places do best with guys hair cuts. I called to see if any of the stylists could«dry» cut. It’s an advanced skill that not many stylists master or prefer. I believe the cut comes with a simple hair wash, but because I wanted a dry cut, I went to the salon with clean, dry, straightened hair. Summer was my stylist, twice now. She has a great friendly personality. I definitely recommend requesting her if you need a hair cut. She know what she’s talking about. She felt my hair and knew that I had a lot of «texture», so I knew she knew her stuff. Gina is another stylist that does a great job. My fiancée goes to her all the time and he never came home upset. The salon is clean and posh. The décor is minimal but is perfect for a place like that. They sell a few products from the xpress cuts line. Products include; shampoo conditioner, hairspray, gel, mousse, and other common styling products. They DONOT take appointments so all clients sign in on a first come, first serve basis. For the most part the stylists are quick, but not rushing on the job with you. The lobby/waiting area, can be small as there are two love seats next to each other and three inoperable massage chairs.

why this place has poor ratings… puzzles me for years Keisha(no longer works here) colored, highlighted, styled and cut my hair like a pro she is now Gina my young spunky sweetheart is fast, fun, trendy and I just love her they do not take appointments so if you want Gina come in a few minutes before she starts and you will get her while writing this, she is doing my very very long hair about the last six inches into level ombré, I will post pics :)

1st time around my husband took my son here to faux hawk his hair. the woman in the first station to the left sounded confident enough to do the job so she stepped up… and failed. he came home and shaved it down after a couple agonizing months [for me] of growing his hair. strike one. we came in today and quick trimmed my hair and the daughters hair thinking maybe it would be different for women. My daughter has one side of her hair shaved and needed a simple trim, and the woman who cut her hair… [station one to the left] looked like she knew what was up with the funky hairstyles because she had one herself. FAIL! my direction for her was… only cut a quarter inch off the bottom. She doesn’t need it to be styled or cut re-cut any other way. she just needs a trim. Trim turned into a chop. Later, my son says… «I think that’s the lady that cut my hair.» 0_o o0. I’d like to mention that my hair is thick and curly, and from my experience of years and years of having this type of hair… stylist have always blow-dried my hair strait before attempting the hacksaw job that is a haircut for me. the girl cutting my hair. [first station on the right] went right to it. O0 let me tell you, it scared the shit out of me. and my fear was justified cause from what I thought was a decent haircut ended up being a chop to the death. I’m not trying to say that I had Kim Kardashian hair. but I HAD a similar style. my bottom layer was nearing my waist… and when I got up to look at the back of my hair… it was cut to the middle of my back. yoooo… no cool. i feel so stupid that i didn’t hop on Unilocal and trust the word of Unilocal homies!!! :(booo to me. i normally know better but i was in dire need of a TRIM! and that’s what I told this B. This is what I clearly stated: «It’s taken me a long time to get my hair this long… so If you can just trim the dead ends.» O_o FAILFAILFAL!!! NOONEEEEEVER. EVEREVEREVER!!! hit up this place. it was so fast and brutal i didn’t even have time to react. I thought about going back to have them fix it. but F THAT! I might come out with NO hair.

The staff is friendly. The wait is short. And the price is great. I love this place. They are becoming my go to hair cutting place.

Have had many cuts here and for the price, they do a good job along with the location being convenient for me near the 215 freeway. I come back because of their deals and even though I get someone new almost each time, I get a consistent cut. They offer nice massage chairs in the waiting room and have several LCDTV’s with different content like sports and news. The person even offered to give me a quick wash after the cut to make sure everything was clean. That was a little extra that almost no one else has provided.

I went to Xpress Cuts on South Rainbow and do not recommend this salon for a haircut. I asked for long layers and the stylist began to cut my hair in a hurry. I have had long layers for a long time and was disappointed in the way it was cut at this location. The stylist didn’t even separate my hair or use clips to separate as she cut. I went to a different salon today to have my hair«fixed» and was told that my hair was uneven in so many places in the back. For $ 11.99 a cut, you do get what you pay for. The name speaks for itself if you are looking for a cut in a hurry.

This is not the place to go if you expect them to make you look like and feel like a superstar. If you want a cheap quick trim, you may want to consider going here. The cuts start at $ 11.99 and of course you have to pay for add-ins such as shampooing, blow drying and styling. The person doing my hair was helpful and straight to the point. I tried making small talk, but I guess she was focused on getting my hair done asap as there were a few customers that walked in. A snip here and there. 15 to 20 minutes went by and I was done. I was a little disappointed that she didn’t ask to have my hair blown dry, or styled. But hey you can’t beat a hair cut for less than $ 20.00. As the saying goes: You get what you pay for. Would I go back? No.
