I’m not too new with Well Being in a box because I ordered from here a long time ago. I was in recently to get some lunch. I really wanted to order the eel bowl but it was pricey. I settled on the spicy squid bowl and the Tempura California Roll. The California roll was great and filling. I almost regretted buying the squid bowl because the roll was so filling. Let me just say I love squid but personally I didn’t care for this. The spice was there but the taste of it all was… meh. When I have the money I’ll shell out for the eel bowl. Just hope that tastes better.

One of my new favs ! Loved the atmosphere, food and everything. The staff were attentive and friendly. Delish Korean and Japanese food(my two personal favorite cuisines). They have one of the best pancakes in their banchan. I feel it’s a bit pricey but at least the fish was super fresh. Will definitely come back again for casual lunch or dinner.

This place gets 5 stars on their customer service alone!!! The food gets another 5 stars!!! It’s family owned so another 5 stars!!! 5’s across the board. They’re very lenient on substituting, if you’re someone like me who doesn’t like sushi. I love this little place.

Went to try this resto because of the stellar reviews… wasn’t really wowwed by the food. It was okay. I guess… I was expecting more? It wasn’t bad or anything but I don’t think it warranted a five stars rating. I didn’t really try a lot of their food but the ones I’ve tried were just okay. Their banchan only consisted of three small dishes… kimchi, veggie pancake, miso soup. The kimchi tasted very generic… not the usual fermented kimchi I get from other Korean restos. The chicken wasn’t cooked well. It was still pinkish. The eel was very bony. The mixed veggie rice, at least, was good. However, it made me crave for some protein, like fish etc. However, almost everything in their menu is a set. If I wanted protein to eat with the mixed veggie rice… I’d have to order a complete teriyaki salmon bento set. Not very convenient. Furthermore… It was kinda expensive… especially for what we ordered. I think it would have been better for us to go to an AYCE sushi. I’m surprised they don’t have dolsot bibimbap in their menu. I won’t come back.

A small but tidy restaurant with friendly staff. Always served quickly and taken care of by the waiters. Not an extraordinary place but definitely hits the spot for a udon soup or ramen fix!

Clean and cute little restaurant. Very friendly and attentive waitress(who I think may be one of the owners?). Reasonable prices. Delicious food. No complaints! The side dishes(kimchee and veggie pancake) tasted very fresh and were delicious! The menu is a little more on the Japanese side than Korean. We ordered spicy tuna roll, udon noodle soup, and a bento with chicken and beef. Udon noodle soup was simple but very tasty. The chicken and beef were well flavored. We were surprised at first that they didn’t come with a teriyaki-type sauce(which you come to expect with meats in bento boxes), but after tasting realized they did not need it, and it’s healthier that way too! Big fan. Will be back!

Cold food, cold soup, poor service, and the flavors not that good. I wonder how this place got the four stars that it currently has…

This is such a awesome place. The service is exceptional. The food was so tasty and fresh. The pictures I posted do not do the food justice. The restaurant is super clean, the bathroom was well stocked and sanitary. I will be back here!

This is little Korean/sushi restaurant with a nice selection of seafood items. The service is great. The owner takes care of the restaurant with pride and dies her best to provide good service. I ordered the spicy Sashimi Bibimbap which was a huge plate. The dish had three different types of fish, radish, rice and lettuce. We also had the Buldogi Bowl which was also a good size portion. The meat was well cooked and had good flavor. Dont forget to check in with your Unilocal app and get your free green tea! Overall, I really liked this restaurant. The fish was super fresh, the service was good and the taste of the food was awesome!

Came here to try it out after seeing so many great Unilocal reviews. We ended up disappointed. I had the tofu soup. It was not very flavorful. The broth seemed watered down and though it was spicy it lacked salt and didn’t feel hearty. My husband had the sashimi salad. The fish was OK, but not super fresh. It was mediocre. The pancake side dish was too doughy and not as good as others I have had. The Kimchi was the best part of the meal, but seemed like it hadn’t marinated long. The servers were very friendly and attentive. And the tea was good! Bottom line is I wouldn’t come back.

Misled by Unilocalers and beautiful food pictures :(At 4.5 stars and 90 reviews, we were looking forward to trying this place. Beef SoonDubu(spicy tofu soup) was overpowering with black pepper and none of the usual rich broth flavors(calm jus instead of plain beef broth with black pepper). My husband had the bibimbap sashimi rice bowl. The server brought it and said she changed out the tuna for albacore because it is «more better». When he told her that he loves tuna and would rather have that, she then says«Oh. We are out of tuna.» The chunks of red snapper were frozen solid(couldn’t bite through). The albacore were presliced, frozen, and was thawing in the bowl. Appetizer dishes: 2 only, kimchi, and doughy pancakes. Kimchi was good. Overall, the quality of ingredients was mediocre but ultimately there was a total lack of flavor in every dish and it was neither good Korean nor Japanese food. The rice was my favorite part of the meal.

This place is amazing! They were about to leave when we showed up, but they stayed to make our sushi because it was my birthday. They were SO kind and fast. The sushi was excellent quality as well, I can’t think of a single negative point. Also it’s super nice to hear them speaking in Japanese behind the counter since sushi is Japanese cuisine! I love this place so much, I’m definitely gonna become a regular there :3

This was our first time here. My wife got the lunch combo Bento box thing, and I was in the mood for sushi so I had a dragon roll and I got us a salmon skin roll to share. Yeah so we ended up sharing everything. I didn’t realize it came with other stuff, but she also brought us some miso soup and kimchi and even a Korean pancake to try. The pancake was fresh and hot and delicious. It was softer than I expected. I’ve had it only once before at the Korean supermarket on spring mountain, but that one was old and dry. This one was fresh and awesome. Their sushi had imitation crab, which was no surprise, but I wasn’t too crazy about it. This particular batch of crab seemed a little watery and tasteless. However the unagi was really good and the salmon skin roll was just about the best thing I’ve ever eaten since moving to Vegas a few months ago. It was my first time having salmon skin roll. If you’ve never had it, you really got to try it. It was so amazing! It’s like healthy omega-3 bacon or something. Seriously you got to try it. The lunch combo was good too. I was getting full from sushi, so I only tasted the chicken and the kalbi. Both were delicious, but that kalbi was so tender and awesome. I might end up getting that next time we go back. Service was excellent too. The lady was very friendly. And the restaurant itself was very bright and clean, at least near the windows where we were sitting. It was a very good experience overall. We’ll be back.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. We went here last week and it was absolutely amazing! Excellent service and delish korean food and sushi. Wish they could be open longer though :/my family was there earlier than me and I came in late since I just got off work. It was already 30 min. before they close. But nonetheless, I loved the experience. Will come back again!

This place is truly amazing! The food is so tasty and the portions are so big we had to box most of it up and take it home. We ordered the Udon soup which I really enjoyed, but what I liked most was the salmon and asparagus salad(seriously YUM) and the kimchee and pancakes they serve was so delicious! Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. Thanks guys for amazing food and service.

while on a recent trip to vegas with my family, we stopped by here for an early lunch. my parents, my dad specifically, is a true korean man; he needs rice for at least one meal a day. what i ate: — well being bento box: salmon, bulgogi, japchae, tempura: this was soooo worth the $ 15 price tag. the plate was IMMENSE! filled with food. everything on it was very tasty, and there was probably enough food for two people. my only gripe with the food is that the japchae and the bulgogi were very similar. the only difference between the two was that the bulgogi had meat, and japchae had noodles instead. my suggestion is to just keep the bulgogi to meat and onions, because the added bell peppers, while very very nice in flavor, makes the bulgogi taste exactly the same as the japchae since it’s the same veggies. pros: — wide assortment of food on the menu. while there is korean style japanese food, there is also straight korean food too — reasonably priced! we ordered 5 menu items, and with tax and tip it came out to about $ 75?$ 80? and we were ALL stuffed to the brim — server was very very sweet and patient — clean and quiet restaurant… but, is that normal? the restaurant was very empty :(such a shame as it’s yummy place — plenty of parking in front cons: — not on the strip — it’s kind of in between a homey mom and pop restaurant, and a to go place. — small, though the server was nice to put two table together so that my family would sit together. would i come again? sure, if i was in the mood for korean style japanese food.

Visited Well Being In The Box on the 4th of July. Simply put, it was a firecracker of flavor(how’s that for a timely use of verbiage?!). I ordered the chicken bento which was meal and a half. This included miso, pancake, kimchi, pickled garlic and jalapeño in soy along with cucumber, macaroni and green salads, California roll and of course, chicken! I was even offered a dessert which was politely declined(I was stuffed!). You’re probably wondering how much this cost. How about $ 10.95! Can you believe it? I also ordered a perfect iced tea which was promptly refilled by a super server. For the life of me, I can’t remember her name — but she’s amazing! The restaurant is under new ownership and it shows! The quality of food and attention to service is obvious. The portions and price only add to this. Stop by and see for yourself!

New owners are in their 2nd week of service as if this review. Service was attentive and kind. The seafood sashimi bowl($ 12) was excellent and generous in portions which included 4 different varieties including tuna, yellowtail, salmon and shrimp. It also contained lettuce, radish, and asian pears. We also ordered the lunch special We love mom doshirak($ 9). It had bulgogi, chicken katsu, pickled garlic stems, Mac salad and one other korean side. It was ambitious but a little lacking. The new owners seemed to give more side dishes korean pancakes, Kim chee, da moo Ji, pickled radish in soy sauce and jalepenos. For dessert they gave us 4 pieces of watermelon. They also honored the Unilocal free ice tea deal without a hitch. A solid 4 ½ star experience.

Well Being’s in a Box Sushi, 2555 S Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV89146. I would give five stars. The food and service was incredible and sushi came right out. When I told them I was dining in I was given a spread. Spider roll was trying to crawl out the sides! Price was under twenty before tip. Great experience!

First let me state that the service is excellent. The women serving us were beyond nice, even when I told them I was given the wrong food, they replaced it and were sooo nice about it. Complimentary mini appetizers, and not to mention they’re endless! Great kimchi and amazing vegetable pancakes(highly recommended). I didn’t try the radish in ginger. They also gave complimentary watermelon at the end of our meal. I ordered the chicken Katsu in tonkatsu sauce and it was the best chicken katsu I’ve had in Vegas. It comes with rice, sushi, ginger, sliced cucumber, macaroni salad and, a salad with peanut dressing. I only give four stars because I wasn’t crazy over the salad, it had too much dressing. Also the macaroni salad was a little bland. Overall it was great. I’ll definitely be returning, such a pleasant meal.

Excellent Korean Japanese fusion food. I went with the Meat Jun Box and was really impressed with the food. Good flavor and such friendly service. The nice Korean lady that helped me was on point with the service. Would definitely come back here for lunch again
