As I drove down Rainbow Blvd… I saw giant letters which caught my eye. SUSHIWATER. Now what in the world is sushi water. Of course it was probably Sushi and some kind of water. So out of curiosity I had to see what this store was about. It was quite small and had these giant contraptions inside and all these faucets. The lady/owner came from the back and was very very friendly and asked if I would like to order sushi. I thought there would be little trays to choose from but I was able to choose from a limited assortment of what I wanted. I ordered the rainbow roll which consisted of california rolls and salmon, tuna sashimi.(pretty good price-I forgot how much) As I was waiting I looked around and they had some Asian foods and frozen Asian goods. There were also these assorted sizes of water bottles. I was quite interested in the 5 gal container w/a spigot. I asked the owner about it and she said the price of the 5 gallon includes the reverse osmosis water they have. Wow– I have been searching for good water here in Las Vegas since I miss the water in the Bay that you can drink straight from the faucet. I asked her if I can taste it and DANG… it is the best water I have tasted since I have been here in LV. I have been buying 1 gal waters from Smith’s and even though I buy their brand… it is still crazy pricing of $ 1/gal. I asked her how much is their water… can you believe… 30 cents/gal. No way. (Duh — there was a price list on the wall — I should have just read it. lol) So if I buy the 5 gal container — I can get refills for $ 1.50. NOWAY… OMG! Good water… good pricing and order sushi while you wait. The lady cleaned out the container, filled it and even brought it over to my truck. She was very nice and helpful. The sushi roll was pretty good, too. I was pretty excited about this water since it tasted good and sooooo inexpensive I just have to tell everyone. GOGREEN!!! Go there and fill up your containers and save money at the same time. (I was even impressed when the owner– who is Asian– answered the phone and started speaking Spanish.) They are open 7 days/week. 10:30am-8:30pm. Bring a container with you there and test it for yourself.
