This place is still a joke– I have had many people tell me that this has happen to them also– stay away from this place — the owner would careless on how you feel and more importantly doesn’t care about your child– I know a lot of children who are scared of this guy

Wensey and James provide a quality program for young tennis players to learn and have fun. Group sessions with 3 – 5 similar level players and you will find that most players have been there months and years showing continued improvement. Our son started last year with TennisWerx as a way to do something different from the other competitive sports he has done for years. He loves the training and environment with music and working with the coaches. He is focused and works hard for James during his sessions and admittedly has more fun, but still works hard with Wensey during training. If you are a typical overbearing soccer/baseball parent that wants to direct everything for your little superstar, do no wrong child, this is not your place. These parents will find that TennisWerx is focused on training your child directly with your child, and not sucking up to mom and dad. They do expect that your child is focused on training and that you as parents are interested in paying for quality lessons. As a parent of a talented athlete, I have pulled my son from teams with abusive or demeaning coaches. It is never anything to tolerate. In the 10 months at TennisWerx, I have never seen this directed at my child or any child and I stay and watch every session. What I have seen is an expectation for my son to focus, speak up and provide a role model for the younger players when they interact. So, if you want a great program that is about growing your child as a tennis player and person, TennisWerx is a great program.

The coach is very verbally abusive and thinks he’s a demigod. Scary place. He’s under the impression that his authority overrides the parents. I wouldn’t allow my child to take lessons there. Parents BEWARE.

What a joke. I had to take my child out to a real tennis place and they had to correct all the bad techniques these bad people teach. Horrible place that is bad to parents and kids. They made us pay 75.00 to test our kid and not another kid starting. This place is a dive and a scam.

A great find… my 4 year old granddaughter is loving privates several times a month and will be starting classes in a week. No pressure… just fun fun fun while learning and working in her coordination. We’ve tried other sports and this is the only sport she likes.
