Probably the slowest service you will ever get. Super long lines. Lines because it was Vegas but it takes them almost 5 mins to make one drink. No smiles. All they did was kept talking to each other. Can you hurry up please!!! 2 danish and 2 coffees is over $ 20 dollars. Only for its convenient since I stayed inside this hotel.

A Starbucks that is convenient but way overpriced and can’t get your order right is what you get here. Staff are underwhelming to say the least and are not helpful. Of the 3 items we ordered, 2 chicken paninis and a venti salted caramel frap, they screwed up on the frap giving us a salted mocha frap… gross! The barista had an attitude when we called her on the mistake, but did fix it. 2 paninis and the Venti frap was $ 27.67 after tax!!!(frap-$ 7.70, panini-$ 8.95×2). We had asked them if they accepted Starbucks gift cards, she happily said ‘yes’. After she appeared to be swiping it she said there was nothing on the card. We knew there were funds on there, verified on our phone when we sat down after paying with a debit card. If you can, get off of the strip for decent coffee and breakfast with people that actually care. And for a reasonable price.

Okay. SO I ordered three drinks and they screwed two of them up. When I told the Barista(Mike was his name IIRC) about this, instead of immediately offering to remake my order, he tells me to try the drinks that were left on the counter from another customer and only remade my order when I said I didn’t like them. WTF. Also, I ordered a baked good that I did not receive and when I first asked about it, they said they were warming it up. A good 10 minutes later, when I asked again, they said that they forgot to make it. After a good half hour spent waiting for this Starbucks to get its shit together, I did not even get an apology. Stop with the lies and the terrible service! Oh and fire Mike! Seriously, I love Starbucks but after this experience, my faith was shaken. Dammn you Michael.

You seriously charge for water cups? The most expensive coffee in Vegas and you charge for water? That is absurd!!!

Beware the licensed Starbucks brand… This is not a Starbucks and I don’t understand why SBux would undermine their brand this way. You can use the app to pay, but they do not participate if you want to use a free drink. Additionally, for some reason every drink is DOUBLE the price. It’s not the cost of rent, because MGM operates them. It is greed at its worst. Thank you MGM for overcharging for every single thing in your outdated and dirty casino. Back to Cosmopolitan next year.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. And a Starbucks located in a casino is an overpriced Starbucks. With that being said, they offer more healthy quick bites options than the rest of the MGM Grand that are actually pretty tasty. I was surprised how much I enjoyed my egg white with spinach, tomato and feta wrap. It’s something to consider if you need a quick bite that(hopefully) won’t clog an artery.

The baristas were always nice the times we came to get our caffeine fix and the drinks were yummy and strong!

So disappointing it seems this location relies on its location right off the casino floor instead of any belief in the company’s mission statement. Our mission: to inspire and nurture the human spirit — one person, one cup and one neighbourhood at a time. What’s not to like here: The robotic staff — non engaging, no smiles, no customer appreciation or interaction, no sense of urgency no matter how long the line is, high prices and mediocre products served. No scanner for app payments — really no scanners With tens of thousands of people walking by this store front daily one would think this would be a super Starbucks but it’s just the opposite, this is a pathetic excuse for a Starbucks. This staff here has to be the most introverted staff I’ve ever encountered at any Starbuck location. I tried them two days in a row both days produced the same results very negative vibes.

It’s a Starbucks inside a huge casino. Everything is as you would expect from this chain except for the long, morning lines. The MGM Grand doesn’t include coffee in their rooms… Service was Las Vegas excellent.

Only barely a Starbucks. The Good: it was empty at 1pm and had coffee. Service was very friendly. The music and seating were both very comfortable. The Bad: They had coffee but only a few teas to choose from and they were all peppermint or flowery. Why can’t I get a plain green tea anywhere but the CoffeeBean. I know Starbucks carries it(in some places) but even when they have it, I have to explain to the cashier that I don’t want Zen or some other flavored green tea, I just want a plain tea. I had to settle for a white peach tea.

Worst customer service ever. I came here and I wanted to pay with my Starbucks card to earn more stars. The lady said she didn’t have a scanner and tried to put it in the credit card machine… well of course it wouldn’t work. I asked her how is it possible that a Starbucks chain would not accept payment on an app they vigorously advertised? She just smiled sheepishly and said I should try a Starbucks outside of the casino, and wouldn’t do anything else for me. Instead of accommodating to the customer they just turned me away, for fear of inconvenience for them. 0 stars actually, but I had to put something for Unilocal standards.

Disclaimer: i do NOT work for any starbucks chain. I just want people to understand why im defending them. After reading a few reviews here, i couldnt leave without leaving my own review. I have gone to NUMEROUS starbucks in my life, and this location by far has been the best that ive been to. Yes it is a little pricier than the regular starbucks, but LOOK at where youre at. You’re on the Strip. Its a tourist destination. Of course things are going to be pricier! Its like going to the movies. Outside the theater, soda is $ 0.89 at walmart. Inside the theater your soda is like $ 5! You have to be reasonable and understand WHY the casino charges you a few dollars extra. When im in the casino, and i want the convenience of getting my coffee without having to drive miles off the strip then you betcha im gonna buy it. Everyone has a choice. They dont force you to buy your drink. Im just saying. The service ive always received here is fantastic. And i have nothing but good things to say about how friendly they are.

«my review is subjective» 1.5 stars My first time to the MGM Grand and well they could get away with murder here(at the Starbucks not the MGM), I am sure they make a bunch of change here just because of the location. It seemed that everyone of the occupants was in line at 7:30 am. The coffee was good as usual but the prices are outrageous. My story… I am in line waiting to place my order when a women and here friend(which had been partying the night before or still going I don’t know haha) are coming down this ramp from a buffet or restaurant right next to the Starbucks. One women places both of her hands over her mouth… then RALPHS all over the marble floor right next to all of us ordering. She was desperately looking for a toilette or garbage can. Well she didn’t make it. Since she decided to cover her mouth, the barf went in every outward direction possible. After her first go-round she then proceeds to enter the area behind the front counter of the Starbucks where everyone is making drinks and finds some type of container to finish her session off. Her friend was not much help to her. After the Ralph session is over they just leave, no words said, just an early morning delivery and they were off. I will say this, the Starbucks employees did not let this become a distraction for them. They kept the orders coming… Please see my attached photo of the spread out chunks the women left behind.

So, we watched/previewed a television show at the CBS Television City place inside the MGM, and we pretty much each got $ 5 gift certificates to Starbucks. We used them today. I got a tall chocolate chip frappuccino for $ 4.75 +tax. He got his normal grande iced caramel macchiato. We just paid for whatever was over $ 5 each and tip! Unfortunately, there were only two employees working the location. One was behind the register. One was making ALL the drinks… and there were a lot of drinks! It took about ten minutes to get our two drinks. The plus side? The reason I’m giving them three stars? The drinks were made extremely well! We were quite impressed with their taste, and although the service was slow, the employees were very nice.

Since most casinos won’t put a coffee machine in the rooms we are stuck heading down to the main floor to get a cup of joe. As I was here these past few days attending a convention along with thousands of others the lines always seemed long but they moved pretty quickly. Normal Starbucks menu and the baristas were nice. Some seating to get a good people watching view and observe all the drunken bachelorette parties stumble by at night. As it was also the Country Music Awards weekend here I also got to watch all the country music freakozoids walk by with all their overdone western gear on. Yee-Haw! Look — another cowboy hat! At least this one is open 24 hours for late night or early morning caffeine fix. It’s one of three locations in MGM alone!

You know how Starbucks are very efficient, run like a well oiled machine, etc. These were hit and miss. One morning, I went to the one next to the Avenue Café. The staff was made up of old, oriental women that did not seem to understand English, walked extremely slow, and looked like it could be their first day staring at their cash register screens like they didn’t know what to do. They were obviously getting paid by the hour, not transaction. Typical products there, but no egg sandwiches?!? They did have the toaster, and would warm up bagels, etc.

There are 3 Starbucks in the MGM Grand, and this is 1 of them. It’s super busy at all times, so be prepared to wait in line. There is a sign posted near the register that the Starbucks Cards are not accepted, so don’t be disappointed. The staff is as friendly as any other location, especially considering they have to deal with drunk morons most of the day. Take it easy on them!

Our MGM room didn’t have a coffee maker. Go figure… I would have been extremely cranky with the missing component of my liquid diet had this Starbucks had not been conveniently placed next to the food court. As a bonus, the baristas didn’t even crack a smile at the giant penis I wore on my head half the time I was in Vegas. Thank you, Starbucks, for not letting me down, and for keeping it classy as you brewed my chai latte.
