Located on the northeast corner of Rainbow and Windmill, the Smith’s Gas Station is a basic, no frills place to fill up your tank. There is no real convenient store, but just a booth if you need to buy some cancer sticks or actually interact with a living, breathing human. What I like most about this place is the convenience of just whipping on in, gassing up with pay at the pump, and than heading on my way to my next destination. I typically end up traveling north on Rainbow Blvd a helluva lot more than south, so this location is perfect for that! The prices are pretty much the same as the Sinclair Choice right across the street. As much as I like the Sinclair Choice Station, it is a PITA to get out of there! So if it is just gas I seek, than this is the perfect option! It’s A-OK. 3 stars.

The cheapest gas around!!! I work in north Las Vegas and I haven’t seen gas this cheap. I shop at the smiths and sometimes get offers for an extra ten cents off, which is awesome!!! They also have a bunch of pumps so I never have to wait for one!

I wouldn’t recommend using Smith’s Fuel. I’ve had two brand new vehicles develop fuel leaks after 35k miles. The only thing that remained consistent was the fact that I fueled up at Smith’s 95% of the time as I was gaining fuel points by shopping there. Let me tell you, it’s not worth the savings. You will pay more later due to the poor quality of fuel. If you notice, most gas stations serve Top Tier fuel, except for Smiths. Even Costco gas is rated as Top Tier. Sure you will save money at Smiths in the short run, but I believe the poor quality of their fuel will cost you more in the long run.

Easy access to multiple pumps. Has some of the lowest fuel prices in the area. Gasoline octane available is 87, 89, and 91. Diesel fuel is availible as well.

I usually gas up at Chevron but since moving Smith’s gas station is closer. We tested their gas vs Chevron’s gas on a roadtrip to Cali. Made it to Cali w/o having to refuel and still had gas to drive around w/while there. And saving $ on gas because we’re frequent Smith’s shoppers is an added bonus!
