Sina Nasri MD

Dr. Nasri is amazing! He removed one of my parathyroid glands three days ago and I am already back to my regular activities. There is no pain, and I can already tell that there will be minimal scarring when I've healed. He's the best in his field, and he's the surgeon that you want. You may need to wait for an appointment, but it's well worth it. I was very worried about having this surgery until I met him, and then I knew that it would be okay.

Let me start by saying that I knew I was going to need surgery to remove a bad parathyroid, so I started my search for the best surgeon in Las Vegas. The one name with consistently great reviews who kept popping up on ‘Healthgrades’, ‘Vitals’, etc. was Dr. Sina Nasri… so I already had it in my mind he was the surgeon I wanted.
After my endocrinologist determined which parathyroid was bad, he referred me to guess who… Dr. Sina Nasri! My endocrinologist said Dr. Nasri is the best his field (ENT), needless to say, I was super happy with the referral!
After meeting with Dr. Nasri, he advised me that he would not be able to perform surgery until I got my blood pressure under control. Dr. Nasri referred me to a fantastic cardiologist who was able to prescribe medication and control my blood pressure within a couple weeks to get me ready for surgery.
Now that my blood pressure is under control, Dr. Nasri schedules me for surgery at Summerlin Hospital. I went to Summerlin Hospital a week before surgery for the pre-​op and every person I spoke with from the receptionist to the nurse, said the same thing: «You are so lucky, Dr. Nasri is a great doctor». In fact, the receptionist told me, «If he says 9am, expect him to be there at 8:30am, he’s always early». Sure enough, the day of surgery Dr. Nasri is early, I’m called in to pre-​op, where they begin the IV and Dr. Nasri arrives to go over final details. Dr. Nasri explains in depth what he’s going to do, how long it should take and that he will see my husband after surgery to inform him of the results.
Dr.Nasri checks all four parathyroids during surgery, he actually found another one of mine that was bad and removed it. Not only was my surgery a complete immediate success, but the scar is small and hardly noticeable!
So here are the facts:
–You will probably have to wait at least a month for an appointment to see Dr. Nasri, because he’s that good.
–You will probably have to wait about an hour past your appointment time to see Dr. Nasri, because he’s very thorough, he cares about his patients and he’s that good.
–Dr. Nasri has more awards on his waiting room walls than you can shake a stick at, because he’s that good.
–Dr. Nasri is the best surgeon in Las Vegas and totally worth the wait, because he REALLY is that good!

Dr Nasri did my sinus surgery, I must admit that I had no idea about the quality of life that I was missing until I had that surgery. the wait in the office is long but totally worth it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with a Dr I could be in and out in 5 minutes. staff is great such a happy office! have and will recommend to all my family and friends. he also did a tube placement on my son who’s infection were getting so bad that he was having difficulty hearing. I am so happy that he saw him and his quality of life improved!

Dr Nasri and his entire staff are amazing! After years of sinus problems, he totally fixed them. Dr Nasri is very kind and definitely knows what he is taking about! His staff is efficient and hard working and very helpful. I would recommend Dr Nasri to anyone!

Dr Nasri and his staff have been amazing. I was referred to him after an endocrinologist determined I needed to have my thyroid taken out. He accurately diagnosed my Hashimoto’s after I had been misdiagnosed for over 15 years. He kept my scar extremely small even though my thyroid was huge. A year later, he performed a sinus surgery and as he promised it has greatly improved my quality of life. Have I waited in the office to see him? Absolutely. Is it frustrating to wait to see a doctor? Absolutely. After the many dealings I have had with Dr Nasri and his staff, I would go back again and again. He is one of the best doctors in town and the best are busy. If you are looking for a skilled doctor who has excellent bedside manner, this is the guy. If you are looking to not spend too much time in the waiting room, shoot for an appointment early in the morning. But just in case, bring something to read and remember, the best are worth the wait.

No stars! I’m still sitting here staring at awards, diplomas blah blah blah, I’m sure he’s a great physician. But I can say the same thing for his not so friendly staff. some are rude.
