I asked for water while playing video poker at the bar yesterday and the little 4’8″ bartender gave me a glass and shot the water from the bar spigot. I left it and pulled the hot bottle from my purse. These are the rudest bartenders I’ve ever encountered they don’t smile or check on the guest. TODAY I AMPLAYINGVIDEOPOKER there are 3 bartenders… Not one has asked if I would like anything. They are all busy not doing CHIT. Oh wait… little bartender just asked the girls next to me what they would like. I hate rude service people.

I wanted to stop off and get a drink before my movie began upstairs at South Point, so I looked around for a bar in the lobby. As I searched through the slot machines, the two bars I encountered had no empty seats. What, no! I wanted a drink and, by golly, I was going to find a place where I could sit down and get one. I managed to trail back almost close to where I first entered South Point — through the elevators leading to the self parking lot — and I found Silverado Lounge nearby. It sits a step above the ground and had plush seats and tables for people to sit at. Both the seats in its lounge area and seats at the bar itself had empty seats, so I sat down at the bar and waited for a bartender. At that time of night, there were two bartenders and when the younger one finished with his customer, turned to me. I asked him if he could make me an AMF and he could, so that’s what I got. It cost about what I’d expect for Vegas, so I paid, left a tip, and finally got what I came for. Yay. Due to a joke while I was talking to a friend on the phone while at the lounge, I decided to order a second AMF from the same bartender and declared the second one for her. Of course, since she wasn’t there, I drank it, but the thought counts. ;)
