Shimmer Nails

I called looking for a same day appt for around 5pm. Mark was super kind on the phone, answered all my questions, and scheduled us for 5:30pm rather then squishing us in at 5 (and then we end up waiting till 5:30 anyways, like a lot of other places would have done!)
We got in and met our «unicorns”(aka nail experts!) as soon as we had picked out colors, and the ladies were so nice! Diamond did my mani-​pedi and she took great care in making sure I was happy. I like classic, simple nails, with just a touch of fun and they came out just like I wanted! My grandma likes bold fun nails and picked a beautiful bright blue. She said her nail tech took such great care when applying the polish; she’s sure the gel will last!
The atmosphere was fun/​laid back and played trendy upbeat music. The pedi chairs were great and had lots of different massage options.
I’m extremely pleased and hope to be back in the future.

They have this all figured out! You are treated as a valued guest from the time you step in the shop! I will make this part of my Vegas routine whenever I’m in town! Nyeala is awesome and Mark is a gem. Love love love Shimmer Nails!

Girls night out brought 2 friends and myself to Shimmer for 9pm pedicures. They were a bit short-​staffed, or busy, or both… but the wait was worth it. It really wasn’t much of a wait to at least get into a massage chair, and Mark brought us mimosas and snacks to keep us happy! Also I love when there is a plan in place and they let you know it, instead of just leaving you to wonder how long the wait will be. Jen, the nail tech, was so personable and sweet. She stayed at least an hour and a half past closing time to make sure we all got the best service possible, and she did it without the slightest hint of irritation or complaint. They work hard to give you the feeling of being among friends.
Choose Shimmer. Keep these people in business! I love a place with friendly people… that is 80% of the enjoyment. They will make you feel welcome and leave you feeling pampered.
My friends and I plan on becoming regulars :)

What’s not to love about this place? Mark’s meticulous attention to detail and passion for all things beautiful are apparent thought this business. He’s also just a delightful person.
Walking in, you would expect ritzy prices to match the ritzy atmosphere, but it’s very reasonably priced, with pedicures ranging from 25 – 45. They use OPI products (among others), which are my favorites.
Heather was excellent, from the scrubbing and massaging to the clipping and painting. I am VERY picky when it comes to pedis, and she did a perfect job. She even gave me samples of the scrub and mask. I left feeling relaxed and well-​served.
And the massage chairs. By the time I finished, all the knots in my back from traveling were gone.

We justed booked my daughter’s mani pedi wedding party for this venue. It is gorgeous. I can’t wait to see what Mark has in store for us and for my beautiful daughter.

Shantel is the best! Does great nails, shaping and designs! Will follow her anywhere :-) salon is clean. The staff is very friendly. Will continue to come back! I also love that everyone speaks proper English and you can understand clearly!

The prettiest salon, great atmosphere & the pedicure was fabulous! Shantel took her time & was very professional, precise, relaxing & all around totally happy with my experience. I have been going to a different salon for over 10 years & they have a run for their money… this WILL be my new salon!!!

Another fantastic visit. Gel removal from my chewed up nails was epic… Poor Rosa my nail girl… I gave her a run for her money… she gave me a killer mani and even changed my toes to match! So happy here!

This was such an unexpected surprise! I found this nail salon on Unilocal,and it’s in your run of the mill strip mall, but inside is a relaxing, clean oasis! Love the atmosphere and the background music! Mark was so accommodating and friendly, allowing me to hang out in a massage chair while waiting for the nail tech to finish up with another customer. Amanda did an incredible job on my pedicure! It was quite possibly the best pedicure I’ve had, and by far the best foot massage I’ve ever had. If I lived here, it would definitely be my go-​to… But I’ll be back next time I come through Vegas!

First let me start off by saying, «the staff was so freaking amazing «a very classy and beautiful environment … Professionalism 10 Ambiance 10, performance 10, quality 10, family oriented 10… I love I love I love they have a new client from this point forward when ever I’m in Vegas!

Let me start out by saying I am one particular (nice word for picky) individual. Our experience here was fabulous from the phone call, which I spoke to Mark and he helped me pick which treatment we needed for relaxing on vacation from Chicago, to Amanda who gave me an amazing pedi but quite possibly the best foot and leg massage I’ve ever had. This place is new and they just have it all figured out. The atmosphere is wonderful as they just really like each other and that is obvious. Prices are so fantastic as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (Pretty Close to Mandalay where we were staying, easy cab ride)

This place is such a gem. My mother and I were in Las Vegas and wanted to relax and thought to get our nails done. The strip has ridiculous prices that we weren’t desperate enough for. So I found this nail salon and oh am I more than thankful I did. Mark is so genuine and overall an amazing person and I hope he knows this. He is more than happy to help you and to make you feel right at home. The ladies were just as fabulous. The women who did our nails made us feel comfortable, were nice, and talkative. There’s nothing I hate more than when I get my nails done and I awkwardly try to figure out what’s going on or if it’s rude that I don’t talk… Thankfully, Here I felt like I already knew them which made the experience that much better. So the people are perfect but the quality? THE SAME. They did an amazing job and I was more than happy, not to mention at a fraction of the cost of the strip. I even had a broken nail (real nail) which they patched up and I haven’t had any issues with whatsoever. Most nail places say they can’t do much or awkwardly put glue over it but here they really took care of it. The establishment is really nice and relaxing once you step in side. Literally, an oasis in the desert. Perfect little pick me up after a long day of exploring the strip or the best way to get fierce and fleek before a night out. My experience was so amazing I will for sure be back and I am telling all my friends that plan on going to Las Vegas because having nice nails is always a good idea. This place will always just be a short über ride away for me when I’m in town.

Came in and did not expect to be receiving such phenomenal service. Mark, the salon coordinator, had Swarovski crystals on his nails and I was sold! Got fairy dust and the crystals on my nails. Nyeela was very patient and sweet. She made sure I achieved the nails I wanted.
Upon paying, I brought in a brochure from my employer that had a discount. By doing so, I got a free pedicure. Spread the word and you can get a discount as well as the amazing deal.

Loved this place! I come to Vegas a few times a year and I am always looking for a good nail place. I finally found one! The place is modern and CLEAN. Courteney gave me a pedicure and did a great job. I upgraded from a regular pedicure. I cant remember the name, but it was very relaxing. The atmosphere was very friendly. Either the manager or owner (Mark?) asked how I was doing, was I comfortable, etc. I will definitely come here on my next visit!

I would follow shantel anywhere! I love her personality and style. The nail salon is very modern and clean. I always leave satisfied and with cute nails. They also do amazing nail art. If you choose to come here be ready to smile and laugh.

Been on the hunt for a good salon and I finally found it!!! Highly recommend, lots of color and gel choices

First off I would like to say that the contemporary look of the salon is just amazing and the style just sits well with the new trend, it’s very inviting and open so your not all crowded. I met the owners I can honestly say they are awesome people, really nice and down to earth and easy to talk to. I have been to many nail salons in this town and this is the place to go, Shantel has been doing my mani’s and pedi’s for over 12 years and where ever she goes I follow. She is a awesome nail tech probably one of the best I’ve ever come across, she is very talented and can do anything that heart desires, she is quick at her job but doesn’t lack the skill or the quality, you can tell that she really cares about what she does and quality of work that she puts her name on, it’s usually by appointment only with her but there are some other amazing nail techs available that are great as well. Come visit this new place … Oh and I can’t forget Mark. The front desk coordinator/​life of the place. He is a
A+ in my books, very accommodating and pays attention to all the people that come through that door. Greets them and attends to there needs while they are waiting for there services to be done.
